Twirling^t⁶⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 9-7| J: Rob Hornby| T: N J Henderson| OR: 90| DWS

25/1

Useful handicapper last season for Simon & Ed Crisford. Low-key start for this yard after 9 months off when well held in novice hurdle at Uttoxeter in July.

Form: 103366-

(6)

Miss Tonnerre⁶³

Age: 3| Weight: 9-6| J: Jim Crowley| T: E Walker| OR: 94

15/2

Useful 2-y-o but disappointed in the Musidora at York on her reappearance and made no impression in listed event at Sandown next time. Probably needs to improve to defy this opening mark.

Form: 144-57

(1)

Glamis Road³⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 9-4| J: S Donohoe| T: Ollie Sangster| OR: 92

40/1

Listed winner at 2 yrs but she has failed to progress this year and looks opposable on handicap bow.

Form: 1-37736

(4)

Asteverdi⁴²

Age: 4| Weight: 8-13| J: Cieren Fallon| T: H Palmer| OR: 82| D

5/1

Twice a winner last season for Alice Haynes. Shaped encouragingly starting out for this yard when third at Ayr on return. Excuses at Chester since and warrants respect with soft conditions in her favour.

Form: 3731-35

(2)

Noche Clasica¹⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 8-9| J: J P Spencer| T: James Owen| OR: 83| D

5/2

Progressive in maidens for Kevin Ryan and stepped up again when making a winning handicap debut in good style for this yard at Goodwood 2 weeks ago. Remains one to keep on the right side of.

Form: 6411

(5)

Abloom³⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 8-8| J: Marco Ghiani| T: W J Haggas| OR: 82| D

2/1

Quickly resumed progress when off the mark in good style in Ripon novice 6 weeks ago. Still unexposed so she remains of interest now handicapping.

Form: 56221

(9)

Bright Times Ahead²³

Age: 3| Weight: 8-6| J: Joe Leavy| T: R M Beckett| OR: 80

10/1

Looked a good prospect when making a winning debut in heavy-ground maiden at Newmarket in November but has been most disappointing in 3 runs this year.

Form: 1-058

Non-Runners

(8)

Protest²⁸

Weight: 9-8| Age: 3

T: R Varian J: Ray Dawson

Forecasts

Abloom (2/1), Noche Clasica (5/2), Asteverdi (5/1), Protest (6/1), Miss Tonnerre (15/2), Treasure (9/1), Bright Times Ahead (10/1), Twirling (25/1), Glamis Road (40/1)

Progressive 3-y-o fillies NOCHE CLASICA and Abloom look the pair to focus on with the former taken to complete the hat-trick. Protest is another to consider back in a handicap.
