Looked on the up when an excellent fifth in the Dante at York but down the field in the Derby and only sixth in the King Edward at Royal Ascot. Didn't seem to benefit from gelding operation when third of 4 in a listed race at Windsor (11.4f, good to firm) 14 days ago and now switched to a handicap.
Made a winning debut in a Kempton novice (1m) last autumn and similarly promising efforts in finishing runner-up both starts in novices at up to 1¼m this spring. Much improved when winning 13-runner handicap at Goodwood (11.2f, good, 5/2) last month and there's likely more to come.
Built on earlier promise when landing maiden at Chepstow (10f) in May and continued on the up when following up on handicap bow at Carlisle (11.2f). Not beaten far when 1½ lengths last of 7 to Nahraan in listed race at Hamilton (11.1f) 50 days ago and he's respected back in a handicap.
Easy winner on return in a Chester maiden (10.3f) in May and has held form well in good handicaps since, most recently when third of 12 at York (13.8f, good to firm, 8/1) 2 weeks ago. Likeable type is shortlisted again.
Progressive in maidens as a juvenile, off the mark at third time of asking at Epsom (8.5f). However, didn't appear to grow much prior to his 3-y-o season and has had his limitations exposed in good company since. Blinkers go on now switched to a handicap.
Has improved with each run, off the mark at the third attempt prior to back-to-back victories over C&D. Quickened up well after being caught in a pocket on the latter occasion here 4 weeks ago and should make bold bid to record the 4-timer.
Progressive since switching to handicaps, completing the hat-trick with a gritty display from the front in a 4-runner affair at Thirsk (1½m, good) in July. Another creditable effort when 1½ lengths fourth of 8 to Tenability over C&D (good to firm) 4 weeks ago and he should give his running again.

Forecasts
Push The Limit (11/8), Tenability (85/40), Daiquiri Bay (4/1), Rogue Millions (12/1), Too Soon (25/1), Nightwalker (25/1), Topteam (28/1)
A quality handicap despite the small field, with PUSH THE LIMIT fancied to build on his impressive handicap debut success at Goodwood, the slightly longer trip here only likely to benefit him. The similarly progressive Tenability is bidding to record his fourth win a row (and third over C&D) and rates a serious danger, with the consistent Daiquiri Bay taken the complete the 1-2-3.
