Maiden hurdle winner for Gordon Elliott. Pulled up at Aintree in May (sole run for Tjade Collier) but back to form with a bang to score over 19.5f at Bangor for this yard in June. Stamina possibly stretched when well beaten over 2¾m at Cartmel a fortnight later.
Lightly-raced winner over hurdles. Shaped as if retaining all her ability after another absence when fifth of 9 at Down Royal (2¾m, good to soft) making good progress before her effort flattened out. This slightly shorter trip could prove ideal for a yard which does well with its British runners.
Back on the up for current yard with wins at Worcester and Stratford in July but his run of good form came to abrupt halt back at Worcester 15 days ago.
Both victories to date at Market Rasen and been knocking on the door there in recent starts. Has runner-up efforts to her name over this C&D and another prominent showing seems likely.
Better effort in handicap hurdles in the spring when third of 6 over 3m at Kelso in May. Remains unexposed back from a break (had wind surgery) and Brian Hughes retains the ride.
Four-time course winner who got his head back in front when leading late on at Cartmel (17f) 12 days ago. Won back to back last autumn so no surprise to see him make another bold bid.
Former course scorer but more miss than hit in his 4 outings this season. His yard is among the winners but others arrive with more pressing claims.
Runner-up 3 times on the bounce over hurdles in first half of 2024 for Shaun Lycett but hasn't shown much spark since, including for this yard the last twice.
Was beaten a long way when placed both completed starts in points and well held in 3 qualifying runs over hurdles around 2m this summer. Longer trip should suit now handicapping and worth a second look in the betting.

Annie Agnew (3/1), Final Edgar (4/1), The Navigator (4/1), Mr Le Philosophe (11/2), Spot On Soph (7/1), Wudya (9/1), Express Run (10/1), Red Force One (12/1), You Did (25/1), Ascension Day (40/1)
Gerald Quinn does well with his British runners so the suggestion in this competitive handicap is ANNIE AGNEW, who could prove ideally suited by the drop to this trip having seemingly just had her stamina stretched over 2¾m at Down Royal last time. Spot On Soph arrives in good form and is second choice ahead of course specialist The Navigator and Phil Kirby's Red Force One, who has a recent Flat win to his name.
