Clearly has more than share of problems but shaped well when sixth of 9 at this C&D in February. Unable to build on it since, though, finishing 13th of 14 in 10f handicap at Newcastle (40/1) 13 days ago.
Similar form in his 3 novice races this winter, finishing third of 12 at Wolverhampton (9/4) when unsuited by drop to 8.7f. Makes handicap debut in first-time hood for new stable and may need further.
Ran creditably when fourth of 10 in handicap at Kempton over 7f (33/1) 21 days ago, first run in 12 weeks (should come on for that). Below mark of January win and has course-winning form.
Lightly-raced 3-y-o who is going the right way, neck second of 6 in 8.5f handicap at Epsom (10/3) 9 days ago, making course specialist pull out all the stops and well clear of remainder. Looks well handicapped from the same mark.
Never out of frame in 6 AW starts and won a 5-runner handicap at Pontefract (3/1) 17 days ago, holding on gamely in first-time cheekpieces. Should remain competitive on return to this surface.
Neck second of 11 in maiden over C&D before winning at 4/9 in 3-runner maiden at Brighton 15 days ago. Needs to improve for handicap debut but he's bred to be useful so that cannot be ruled out.
Consistent rather than progressive, possibly in need of the run when third of 9 in maiden at this C&D (4/1) 13 days ago, not unduly punished. Makes handicap debut.

DUE WEST progressed again when pushing a course specialist all the way at Epsom last time and from the same mark, he looks ready to go one place better. Saxonia comes here in winning form after a game success at Pontefract, while Lord Montague may also have more to offer in a race in which the 3-y-os are expected to come to the fore.
