Turned in best effort of the season when second at Brighton (9/1) last month in first-time hood. Failed to build on that when fourth of 7 in handicap at Epsom (7/2) 18 days ago, dwelling at the start and never threatening. This does represent a drop in class.
Returned to form with a third at Ffos Las (7.4f) in June after a poor spell. Fifth of 12 in handicap back there a week later, not ideally placed. Looks capable of running well back from a break.
Won a 6-runner 7f handicap at Leicester (5/1) 41 days ago, coming from last to first, having previously finished third of 10 at this C&D. Capable of further progress now he's learnt to settle better.
Low-key start to the campaign but more like it of late, second of 12 in 7f handicap at Haydock Park (12/1) 24 days ago, prominent throughout and led over 1f out before headed in closing stages. Back up 3 lb but he should be a factor.
Shown fair form in handicaps, respectable seventh of 11 at Windsor (33/1) 19 days ago with tongue tie fitted starting out for new trainer. Back in trip.
Modest form at best in novice/maiden races, most recently seventh of 8 at Newbury (40/1) 82 days ago, when raced freely and dropped away. Makes handicap debut from a stiff-looking mark.
Ended a losing run stretching back over 4 years in a 6f course handicap last month. Third of 7 over same C&D 8 days ago, running creditably in a deeper race. Proven track performer who should be competitive stepping back up to 7f.

Forecasts
Marlay Park (10/3), Jr Climbs (10/3), Excellent Echo (5/1), Punchbowl Flyer (11/2), Dakota Power (6/1), Reddeef (17/2), Brecon Beacons (10/1)
MARLAY PARK, now on a career-low mark, showed enough at Brighton to think he can win in this grade so he's selected in the hope he can aside a lacklustre run at Epsom last time. JR Climbs put in his best effort of the season when second at Haydock and he's a danger on that form, with Excellent Echo also of interest.
