Won a maiden in May and has shown creditable form in handicaps since, third of 7 in a 6f handicap at Catterick (4/1) 12 days ago, running on at one pace. The step up to 7f could be a positive move based on that evidence.

Showed limited ability in maidens but a completely different proposition switched to a nursery when winning over C&D 16 days ago. Looks capable of building on that confidence-boosting success with 5 lb rise very fair.

Made steady progress through maiden and novice company and justified support in a C&D nursery 46 days ago, hampered early but made headway to lead over 2f out despite running green. Lightly raced and likely to stay further when the time comes.

Knocking on the door in nurseries, running well on form when third of 6 behind Lady Britain over C&D (2/1) 16 days ago, though she hung left/carried head awkwardly throughout. First-time cheekpieces could help address those issues.

Has shown no ability in three starts, dwelt and hung left when 11th of 13 at Thirsk (300/1) 15 days ago. Nurseries more suitable, at least.

Forecasts

Dunkeld Dreamer (2/1), Lady Britain (7/2), Supreme Dancer (9/2), Harswell River (11/2), Willowinghurn (13/2), Baldosa (12/1), London (20/1), Bestfootleads (66/1)

Verdict

LADY BRITAIN showed much-improved form when winning over C&D 16 days ago and can build on that confidence-boosting success. Harswell River was third in that race but cheekpieces may help her apply herself, while Dunkeld Dreamer could also have more to offer.

  1. Lady Britain7/2
  2. Harswell River11/2
  3. Dunkeld Dreamer2/1
