Gradual improvement in three novice runs and was better than she could show when last of 9 in nursery (3/1) at Yarmouth (5.2f, firm) 22 days ago, not recover having been badly hampered. Was prominent in the betting that day and could be worth another chance.

Forecasts

French Affair (1/1), Born Slippy (10/3), Davvy (7/1), Alasrae (8/1), Red Savitar (8/1), Woolisle (11/1), Tickettothestars (14/1)

FRENCH AFFAIR had some solid form in maiden/novice company prior to making a winning start in nurseries at Newbury last month. He sets the standard dropping back down in grade and is preferred to Born Slippy who was back on track when runner-up at Windsor last time, while Tickettothestars was prominent in the betting when badly hampered on her nursery bow and could be worth another chance.
