Successful on handicap debut over hurdles for Terence O'Brien at Limerick last spring. Struggled since, including over fences and on for start for this yard at Cartmel in June.

Dual C&D winner, including in emphatic fashion on yard debut in June. Escaped a penalty for that and followed up with something in hand at Cartmel 7 days later and remains of firm interest.
All but opened her account at Plumpton in February and finally did so back against her own sex in similar event at Huntingdon in May, coming clear under hands-and-heels ride. Was beaten by more than a 6 lb higher mark at Market Rasen since, however. Has left Chris Gordon.
Pulled up in both hurdles for Nicky Richards but a totally different proposition for new yard when landing a C&D novice in June. However, proved a disappointment at Cartmel once again later that month and easy enough to oppose on handicap debut.
Shaped well when second in a handicap hurdle at Perth before recording breakthrough Flat win at Hamilton in June. Found good run of form coming to a halt in minor event at Ayr (6/4) 18 days ago. Blinkers removed for this return to hurdles and needs considering.
Made it back-to-back poor runs when pulled up in 7-runner handicap chase at Perth 45 days ago. Cheekpieces replace blinkers for switch back to hurdles.
C&D winner who capitalised on a career-low mark when scoring at Market Rasen in July and did all he could from 4 lb out of the weights when seventh of 11 at Perth (20.2f) on most recent outing.

DICKENS has established himself as a course specialist at Hexham with two C&D wins and arrives in prime form following a comfortable victory at Cartmel where he travelled strongly before asserting at the last, so he's fully expected to complete the hat-trick. Malangen and Gemini Man head the opposition.
