Won at Thirsk (6f) in June and narrowly beaten in handicap at Haydock in July. Ninth of 10 in handicap at Hamilton (6f) (22/1) 11 days ago, never figuring after being pushed along early. Previous good efforts suggest he's capable of bouncing back.
Won 7f handicap at Catterick (5/2) before finishing sixth of 6 in 8f handicap at Hamilton (3/1) 36 days ago when racing too freely. Drop in trip could suit based on keenness.
Has struggled since last win 9 runs ago, finishing ninth of 18 in handicap at Ayr (100/1) 33 days ago. May need cut in the ground to show her best.
Continued in good heart during summer with a win at Doncaster and two runner-up finishes at Redcar and Thirsk. Finished 16th of 22 in handicap at York (15/2) 29 days ago but capable of making an impact back in calmer waters.
Won a 5f handicap at Doncaster (14/1) before finishing third of 7 in handicap at Haydock (7/2) 35 days ago, running creditably without the hood. Equally effective over 5f and 6f.
Ran well in spring with two third-place finishes before bleeding issues. Turned in best effort of the season when capitalising on a career-low mark in 10-runner handicap at Thirsk (14/1) 21 days ago. Remains to be seen which way he goes.
Below form this campaign but shaped better when sixth of 13 in handicap at Haydock (11/1) 13 days ago from a poor draw. Yet to recapture last season's form, though.
Won at Doncaster last month and ran well when second of 8 in handicap at Ayr (3/1) 14 days ago, beaten only a short-head. Having a good summer and could go close again.
Admirably consistent performer, finishing in the frame in all five recent starts with two runner-up efforts. Third of 10 in handicap at Thirsk (5/2) 21 days ago, beaten only by a well-handicapped rival and an unexposed sort. Deserves to go one better before long.
Ran well to finish third of 19 at York and third of 6 at Nottingham over 6f. Eighth of 10 in handicap at Beverley (16/1) 9 days ago when racing wide and below form. Return to 6f at Redcar, where he's previously shaped well, should suit better.

CAPTAIN VALLO has been a model of consistency with five consecutive in-the-frame finishes, finding only an interesting pair too good on his most recent outing at Thirsk, so he appeals as the most solid option. Lord Abama is capable of bouncing back from a below-par effort at Hamilton having won at Thirsk in June, while Sugar Baby has previous course-winning form and should not be discounted despite disappointing in a well-contested handicap at York last time.
