Chester Vase winner who produced a very smart performance when winning 18-runner Derby at Epsom, dominating from the front. Not quite so impressive when completing hat-trick in Irish Derby but still got the job done. The one to beat under a penalty.
Quickly made up into a smart performer this spring, winning all 3 starts, notably a strong renewal of the Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot 9 weeks ago, holding on gamely after kicking for home early in straight. Interesting to see how he does over this shorter trip.
Looked a good prospect when winning the Dante here in May on return. However, well held in Epsom Derby/Irish Derby since and plenty to prove now.
Progressive after making debut in April, winning a couple of novices before acquitting himself well at a higher level, arguably unlucky not to win listed race at Hamilton last month. Should have more to offer still, particularly at this trip.
Siyouni colt who progressed very well at 2, finishing second in 1m Saint-Cloud Group 1 on final start. Turned over at 1/4 on his 1m Dundalk reappearance but proved a different proposition when coming from last to first in Dee Stakes at Chester. That form hasn't worked out but he can improve again.
Galileo colt who looked smart prospect when making a successful debut in 10-runner maiden at Leopardstown in April. Only just edged out fast tracked to listed company in Lingfield Derby Trial following month and remains with potential.
Improved when winning 5-runner Gallinule Stakes at the Curragh (second past the post but subsequently promoted). Ran as well as could be expected when seventh in Irish Derby since and looks up against it again.

Forecasts
Lambourn (4/5), Carmers (11/2), Mount Kilimanjaro (17/2), Arabian Force (10/1), Stay True (11/1), Pride Of Arras (12/1), Thrice (16/1)
LAMBOURN became the twentieth horse to complete the Epsom/Irish Derby double 7 weeks ago and looks capable of defying a penalty back down in class at a track which should suit his aggressive style. The unbeaten Carmers won a strong renewal of the Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot and rates the main threat ahead of Mount Kilimanjaro, who did well to win the Dee Stakes at Chester in the spring.
