Well backed with headgear discarded when off the mark over 6f at Leicester on penultimate start. Soft ground probably against him when down the field at Nottingham since but return to this longer trip worth a plus back on all-weather and he's fancied to play a part.

Proved better than ever on return from 3 months off when scoring over 1m here in May. Hasn't truly been seeing his races out more recently though, sixth of 8 in handicap at Newmarket (8f, good to soft) 19 days ago. Refitted tongue strap needs to have positive effect now returning to 7f.

Lightly-raced maiden. 14/1, produced best effort to date when third of 8 in handicap at this C&D 14 days ago, plugging on. Possibilities if building on that here.

AW maiden winner last year but has largely struggled this time around, never involved when sixth of 8 in handicap (11/2) at this C&D 14 days ago. Hooded for 1st time but others rate stronger.

Earthlight gelding. Tongue strap on for 1st time, last of 11 in handicap at Doncaster (10.2f, good to firm, 25/1) 27 days ago. Blinkers back on and significant step back down in trip can see him in a better light.

4/1 and blinkered for 1st time, creditable third of 9 in handicap at Brighton (7f, good to firm) 50 days ago, that despite looking unsuited by the track. Tongue strap back on and one to consider from this mark.

Remains a maiden following 8 starts but turned in another creditable display when third of 9 in handicap at this C&D 14 days ago, running on. Eased further in the weights ahead of this and no surprise to see him thereabouts.

Lightly-raced gelding. 9/2, first run since leaving Charlie Fellowes when sixth of 8 in handicap at Carlisle (7.8f, good to soft) 16 days ago. Visor on 1st time and too soon to be writing him off for stable who has a knack at improving new recruits.

Forecasts

Silca Bay (3/1), Moby Quick (4/1), Amor Cordis (9/2), Yuvraaj (5/1), Takteek (13/2), Lexington Jet (9/1), Legend Forever (10/1), Island Ocean (16/1), Just King High (28/1)

Verdict

MOBY QUICK had excuses for a below-par display at Nottingham 3 weeks ago and, back on all-weather/returned to this longer trip, it would come as no surprise to see a much better showing from a handy draw. Silca Bay and Amor Cordis are others to consider, with Lexington Jet also commanding a second look.
