Way Maker⁴⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 11-6| J: S Bowen| T: M Bowen

2/7

Didn't cost much, but there was much to like about the way he did the job on debut at Bangor (16.7f, good) last month, winning a 6-runner bumper by 11 lengths. Open to improvement and should make a bold bid, despite carrying a penalty.

Form: 1

All About Moi

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: James Best| T: M Keighley

20/1

Pour Moi gelding. Half-brother to fair hurdler/chaser Pride of Lecale and fair hurdler Rocked Up, stayed 3m. Yard's strike rate in bumpers isn't particularly compelling and this one is likely to need more time and distance.

Form:

Harbour Haze

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Toby McCain-Mitchell⁽⁷⁾| T: R T Phillips

40/1

Harbour Law gelding. Dam maiden on Flat (stayed 7f). Flat-bred 5-y-o who will only be of interest on debut if the market speaks in his favour.

Form:

Creeping Tom

Age: 4| Weight: 10-13| J: Brendan Powell| T: J Tizzard

13/2

Passing Glance colt. Dam unraced out of fairly useful hunter chaser (25f-33f winner) Mid Div And Creep. Stable occasionally strikes with newcomers and this 4-y-o needs a close look in the betting.

Form:

Mayo

Age: 4| Weight: 10-13| J: Jack Tudor| T: Christian Williams

20/1

Yorgunnabelucky gelding. Dam unraced. Worth a market check, but bumpers winners for this stable are hardly a regular occurrence.

Form:

Victors Spirit

Age: 4| Weight: 10-4| J: J M Quinlan| T: N B King

9/1

Vercingetorix gelding. Half-brother to 2 winners on Flat, including winner in South Africa Guarding The Wall. Dam Group 3 winner in South Africa. Market should point the way.

Form:

Non-Runners

Chicker

Weight: 10-13| Age: 4

T: F O'Brien J: J J Burke

Forecasts

Way Maker (2/7), Chicker (10/3), Creeping Tom (13/2), Victors Spirit (9/1), Mayo (20/1), All About Moi (20/1), Harbour Haze (40/1)

Despite being a cheap buy WAY MAKER looked good when making a winning debut at Bangor and one of the newcomers will need to be above-average to topple him. Of the debutants, Chicker looks the pick, with Creeping Tom and Victors Spirit also of interest.
