Fairly useful but inconsistent hurdler now trying fences. Second of 13 in a maiden chase at Tipperary (11/1) 47 days ago, much improved from chasing debut under a more positive ride, led after 2 out but was collared on the line. Strong contender for this mares beginners chase.

Runner-up all 4 starts in bumpers. Fair hurdler, winning maiden at Kilbeggan (by 10 lengths) in 2024/25. Possibly found race coming too soon after a respectable return when disappointing in handicap at Galway last time. Makes chase debut.

Failed to complete final two hurdle starts before switch to fences. Second of 5 in maiden chase at Tramore (9/2) 78 days ago, disputed lead early but one paced when mistake 2 out, no match for winner. First run for new trainer. Tongue strap removed, should benefit from step up in trip.

Fairly useful over hurdles but fifth of 7 in maiden chase at Wexford (9/2) 25 days ago, making progress before weakening after the last. Significant step up in trip requires improvement in jumping.

Point-to-point winner who has struggled to settle in hurdles but showed more promise over fences. Second of 7 in maiden chase at Wexford (16/1) 25 days ago, making an encouraging start over the larger obstacles. Entitled to improve with step up in trip and first-time tongue strap applied.

Useful hurdler with 5 wins. Found Grade 1 too demanding at Fairyhouse (16/1) 119 days ago. Interesting chasing newcomer.

Forecasts

World Of Fortunes (13/8), Cobra Queen (4/1), Littlebiggie (11/2), Long Gone (7/1), Coole Cherry (8/1), Costanuci (8/1), Gers Gigi (14/1), Femme Magnifique (33/1), Fiddledee (100/1)

Verdict

LITTLEBIGGIE made an encouraging start over fences at Wexford and this point-to-point winner should improve with the step up in trip and first-time tongue strap. Cobra Queen showed much more when adopting positive tactics last time, collared only on the line at Tipperary. Coole Cherry had excuses last time after running respectably on her reappearance and is respected on chase bow along with World of Fortunes, who was the best of these over hurdles.
