Saxon Cross⁴³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Mr T A Halford⁽⁷⁾| T: C W J Farrell

Form: 2PU-P5

Coutach^h1¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-13| J: Josh Williamson⁽⁵⁾| T: G Elliott

3/1

Showed plenty on debut in good race at the Punchestown Festival but disappointed bearing in mind that promise at Galway 3 weeks ago, the combination of a 3-month absence and racing freely leaving him short in the finish. Hood goes on and he's the one to beat on form in this company.

Form: 5-9

11/8

Crystal Ocean gelding out of 2m-2½m hurdle/chase winner, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser (stayed 3½m) Moyhenna out of useful hurdler/chaser (winner up to 3m) Moskova. Newcomer to note.

Form:

Valenciaga

Age: 4| Weight: 10-13| J: Alex Harvey⁽⁵⁾| T: J C McConnell

15/2

€3,500 3-y-o, Valirann gelding. Half-brother to fair hurdler Armed And Fabulous (stays 3m), related to a Midlands National winner.

Form:

Gijima

Age: 5| Weight: 10-9| J: Gregor Walkingshaw⁽¹⁰⁾| T: Lucinda & Scud

28/1

Bal A Bali mare. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful French hurdler/useful chaser (17f-23f winner) Autorisation.

Ms Cindy Kate²²

Age: 4| Weight: 10-6| J: Joshua Thompson⁽⁷⁾| T: N G Richards

16/1

12/1, showed a bit on debut at Uttoxeter 3 weeks ago, handy and hanging right 2f out. Should know more now.

Form: 5

Nannymooresbridge

Age: 4| Weight: 10-6| J: Toby Wynne| T: Ella Pickard

18/1

€28,000 3-y-o, Kingston Hill filly. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser (stayed 3m) Stolen Silver out of French hurdle/chase winner up to 19f Change Partner.

Form:

Tigress Lilly⁵⁶

Age: 4| Weight: 10-6| J: Conner McCann⁽⁷⁾| T: Lucinda & Scud

25/1

12/1, showed a bit on debut at Bangor 8 weeks ago, taking longer to pick up than a few others. Should be sharper now.

Form: 6

Forecasts

Tenthousandreasons (11/8), Coutach (3/1), Saxon Cross (11/2), Valenciaga (15/2), Ms Cindy Kate (16/1), Nannymooresbridge (18/1), Tigress Lilly (25/1), Gijima (28/1), I Am Simba (28/1)

COUTACH has contested good bumpers at the Punchestown and Galway Festivals, showing plenty, and looks the way to go here fitted with a hood. Tenthousandreasons is an interesting newcomer, while Saxon Cross can build on his first run at Wexford.
