Latest win at Haydock in July. 9/1, below form eleventh of 19 in handicap at York (5f, good to firm) 17 days ago. Remains 6 lb above last winning mark and looks vulnerable.

Fifteen runs since last win in 2024. Fifth of 8 in handicap at Carlisle (5.8f, soft, 11/2) 75 days ago, finding test too much. Since undergone a wind op and dropping back to the minimum trip here is a big plus. On a good mark, too, so there are reasons to be optimistic about his chance.
15/8, won 6-runner handicap at Catterick (5f, good to firm) 7 days ago, eased down. Will almost certainly go up more than 5 lb (the value of the penalty he carries here), when reassessed, so she has to be accorded the utmost respect.
Latest win at Nottingham in May. Seventh of 8 in handicap at Nottingham (5f, good to soft, 10/3) 5 days ago. Wouldn't be without a chance if on-song, but his profile is too up-and-down for comfort.
C&D winner last month. Creditable third of 6 in handicap at Musselburgh (5f, good, 7/2) 11 days ago, running on. 1 lb lower now and it would be no surprise to see him involved in the finish.
20/1, second of 6 in handicap at Musselburgh (5f, good) 11 days ago. Just ahead of re-opposing stablemate Sixcor that day, but the latter is the one with more appealing profile and will likely emerge as the yard's No 1 this time.

Forecasts
Fortunate Star (2/1), Masterclass (11/4), Thornaby Pearl (3/1), Thunderstorm Katie (7/2), Happier (5/1), Sixcor (11/1), Hard Nut (66/1)
The trip just shy of 6f at Carlisle stretched THORNABY PEARL on his latest start in May and he is of strong interest off this reduced mark back at the minimum trip. The Adrian Nicholls-trained 7-y-o shades preference ahead of Happier, who did the job well at Catterick last week and a 5 lb penalty looks more than manageable. Sixcor was just behind stablemate Hard Nut last time, but a role-reversal is anticipated here and he is third choice.
