Brain Freeze¹⁷

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Connor Beasley| T: M Dods

80/1

Kessaar filly made little impact when sixth of 7 in maiden at Thirsk (7f, good) on debut 17 days ago. Looks one for the longer term.

Form: 6

Douwantitrightnow³¹

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: T Eaves| T: K A Ryan

18/1

Green when fifth of 6 in a useful novice at York (6f, good to firm, 22/1) on debut 31 days ago. This looks easier and no surprise to see her make more of an impact stepping up in trip.

Form: 5

(5)

Elizabetty¹⁶

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Ben Robinson| T: B Ellison

14/1

Twice-raced filly. Hooded for first time, fifth of 10 in maiden (11/1) at Newcastle (7.1f) 16 days ago, not knocked about. Looks to be being brought along gradually and will be more interesting in handicaps.

Form: 55

(4)

Maw Can¹⁷

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Harrison Shaw| T: Adrian Nicholls

33/1

Went backwards from debut when sixth of 12 in novice at Thirsk (6f, good) 17 days ago. Up in trip and has improvement to find.

Form: 36

Special Thanks³²

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: C Lee| T: K R Burke| BF

4/11

Frankel filly. Dam 7f winner (including at 2 yrs) and is bred to be smart. Far too green to justify short odds when 4/7, third behind a stablemate in a maiden at Carlisle (6.9f, good) on debut 32 days ago. Likely to improve and looks the one to beat.

Form: 3

(3)

Spiritoftheblues

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: D Tudhope| T: D O'Meara

7/1

Foaled March 15. Time Test filly. Dam 11f winner on only start. Makes appeal on pedigree and hails from a good yard. Worth a market check on debut.

Form:

(1)

Velvet Rhythm

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Jason Hart| T: C Johnston

15/2

Awtaad filly. Dam unraced sister to 1¼m winner (probably stayed 1½m) Skiffle and half-sister to smart winner up to 1m Golden Town out of useful 1½m winner Princesse Dansante. Yard's juveniles always worth a look and she warrants respected on debut.

Special Thanks (4/11), Spiritoftheblues (7/1), Velvet Rhythm (15/2), Elizabetty (14/1), Douwantitrightnow (18/1), Maw Can (33/1), Brain Freeze (80/1)

SPECIAL THANKS is bred to be smart but was too green to justify short odds when third behind a stablemate at Carlisle last month. She should come on plenty for that experience and can go one better at the expense of Douwantitrightnow, who contested a useful-looking York novice on her debut and should find this easier, with Velvet Rhythm preferred of the interesting pair of debutantes.
