€60,000 yearling, Persian King gelding. Dam, ran twice in US, half-sister to smart 1m/8.3f winner Ghaly out of useful 1m winner Hanky Panky. Betting can provide a useful guide on debut.
Sea The Stars colt who couldn't quite meet expectations 7 weeks on from his eye-catching debut but ran creditably nevertheless when second of 14 in maiden at Windsor (10f, good to soft) 18 days ago. Represents top stable and unlikely we've seen all he has to offer. Player.
Ghaiyyath gelding who has progressed with each start to date, better than bare form having found trouble when second of 12 in maiden (12/1) at Sandown (10f, good to firm) 55 days ago. Remains open to further improvement and he's one to consider here.
6,000 gns foal, €32,000 yearling, Phoenix of Spain gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including winner up to 6f Rosa Mystica and 7f-1m winner Bolly Bullet. Dam ran twice.
Promise both starts to date, latterly when finishing second of 4 in maiden at Pontefract (10f, good, 7/4) 31 days ago. This rates a tougher assignment but he's another who is very much the type to progress further.
Wootton Basset gelding who makes plenty of appeal on paper but he went backwards from his debut effort when ninth of 16 in maiden at Limerick (1m) back in June. Since left Joseph O'Brien for 13,000 gns and he's likely more of a handicap type moving forward.
260,000 gns yearling, Wootton Bassett filly. 10/1, shaped as if in need of the experience when fourth of 5 in novice at this course (8f, good to firm) on debut 20 days ago, labouring over 2f out before rallying final 1f. In leading hands and she seems sure to do better.

Forecasts
Respond (6/5), Mukhtalif (2/1), Spanish Rising (7/1), Bintkend (15/2), Census (16/1), Twilight Safari (28/1), Woodshaw (150/1)
RESPOND continued his theme of race-by-race progress and shaped a bit better than the bare form in the process having met with trouble when second in a Sandown maiden over this trip 55 days ago. He rates the type to step forward again and earns the vote over Mukhtalif who ran well despite failing to justify short odds at Windsor last month. Bintkend and Twilight Safari are another pair with their best days ahead of them, too.
