Irish import who was much improved when making it 3 wins in her last 4 starts with an 8-length success in a valuable mares' handicap at Kelso (2m, soft) in March. Even a 9 lb rise shouldn't leave her handicapped out of things if resuming in similar form.
Six-time hurdle winner, including this race 12 months ago. Also successful on AW Flat last month and creditable sixth of 14 in very competitive Summer Handicap at Market Rasen (16.5f, good) last weekend. Visor off, blinkers back on. Should go well in this race again.
Four wins from 8 runs last season. 15/2, good third of 8 in handicap at Worcester (2m, good to firm) 39 days ago.
Landed back-to-back handicaps hurdles at Stratford and Warwick in May. Another good effort when 4½ lengths second of 9 to Tara Iti over C&D (good) 28 days ago. Has to enter calculations.
Better than ever when landing hurdle win 4 since joining James Owen over C&D at the end of June. Always behind in the Summer Handicap at Market Rasen last weekend but can do better back in calmer waters now.
Fourteen runs since last win in 2021. Cheekpieces on first time, bit below form when fifth of 9 in handicap hurdle (6/1) at Cartmel (17f, soft) 28 days ago.
Chase winner at Market Rasen last summer and made a winning return to action in a handicap hurdle at that venue (16.5f, heavy) 3 weeks ago. Should remain very competitive off 3 lb higher.
Fairly useful bumper winner in Ireland in 2022. Improved efforts over hurdles for this yard since wind surgery, building on Warwick second when going one better in 18.5f Stratford handicap 26 days ago. A 5 lb rise looks fair assuming he's as effective back at shorter.
Maiden pointer (failed to complete all 4 starts between the flags) but has displayed a fair level of ability over hurdles around 2m. Remote last of 3 when stepped up to 21.5f at Newton Abbot last time and quickly drops back in distance.
Snapped a losing run in good style at Ffos Las (2m) in May. Good second of 7 in handicap hurdle at Market Rasen (16.5f, soft) 8 days ago. collared final 50 yds. This C&D winner/front-runner could take a bit of pegging back on likely drier ground this time.

Enthused (10/3), Realistic Optimism (9/2), Stroll On By (5/1), Gavin (6/1), Breaking Cover (6/1), Time Interval (15/2), Tara Iti (9/1), Leloopa (9/1), Vocito (12/1), Lunar Sovereign (18/1), Linden Lane (80/1)
GAVIN has been in really good form this summer and might take a bit of stopping if he can get away on the front end. Last year's winner Enthused is respected on the back of a decent run in a strong race at Market Rasen last Saturday. Stroll On By and Realistic Optimism are others to consider in a race where a case can be made for plenty.
