11/4, ninth of 10 in handicap at Southwell (8.1f) when last seen in February, badly hampered. Absent since and now 0-15, but he's on a good mark judged on creditable placed efforts over this C&D during the winter.
Ninth of 12 in handicap (14/1) at Ffos Las (7.4f, soft) 23 days ago. Cheekpieces enlisted now tried on tapeta for the first time and it's easy enough to look elsewhere.
33/1, eleventh of 16 in handicap at Leicester (7f, good) 56 days ago. Back up in trip and she needs to find improvement from somewhere in order to play a leading role in this contest.
Thrice-raced maiden. 16/1, fourth of 7 in maiden at Ripon (8f, good to firm) 15 days ago. Will need to raise her game significantly now pitched into a handicap, but that's far from impossible given the yard that she represents.
13/2, fifth of 6 in handicap at Nottingham (8.3f, good to soft) 48 days ago. Edging down the weights and she's by no means discounted.
Lightly-raced maiden. Last of 7 in handicap at Chepstow (7.1f, good to firm, 20/1) 11 days ago. Up in trip for this tapeta debut and he needs to raise his game.
Seventh of 9 in handicap at Carlisle (5.8f, good to soft, 80/1) 36 days ago. Significantly up in trip and this 5-y-o is hard to warm to.
Thrice-raced maiden. Seventh of 9 in maiden (10/1) at this course (6.1f) 22 days ago, unsuited by drop in trip. Moving back up in trip for this handicap debut looks a good move and he's one to note in the betting.
3/1, respectable fourth of 9 in handicap at this C&D 61 days ago. 1 lb lower starting out for new yard and he could have a part to play.
Last of 6 in handicap (5/2) at Windsor (8.1f, good to firm) 24 days ago and while it's fair to say that he wasn't seen to best effect on that occasion, others are more appealing all the same.

Forecasts
Popeye Doyle (15/8), Retraction (3/1), Ignition (6/1), Skyelight (13/2), Parisian Phoenix (11/1), Brave Guest (11/1), Invincible Storm (18/1), Sunday Belle (20/1), Toby's Time (25/1), Max Stripes (50/1)
A first career win beckons for one of these and RETRACTION could be the answer. The 5-y-o wasn't seen to best effect in a couple of runs at Southwell earlier this year and he's now 3 lb lower compared to when placed twice over this C&D during the winter. Handicap debutant Brave Guest is next on the list ahead of Skyelight and Ignition, while Parisian Phoenix is also worth a second look.
