Useful filly dictated to win a 9-runner fillies listed race at Longchamp (10.4f) on final start of last season but found out in Group 1 company this term. This is more her level and ought to be more competitive.

Picked up where she left off when winning Group 3 Park Express on reappearance in April prior to a fine ½-length second in a course Group 2 in May. Wasn't at the top of her game at Ascot (possibly unsuited by firm going) last time. Bred to stay this longer trip and ground should suit. Respected.

Useful and returned to form on second start this season when creditable 3½ lengths third of 7 to Green Impact in listed race (12/1) at Leopardstown (9f) 45 days ago. Didn't look short of pace that day but could have more to offer if seeing out longer trip.

Better than ever for Paddy Twomey, signing off last season with an impressive career best performance when winning 15-runner listed race at Galway (12f, good, 5/1) by 4¼ lengths from Rouge Sellier (ran well in Group 1 subsequently) in September. Strong claims if returning in that sort of form.

Useful mare. Course winner here in March over 1m. Not disgraced back in handicap company when eighth of 12 in handicap at this course (7f, good, 8/1) 21 days ago. Back up in trip with a bit to find on bare form.

Second in Munster Oaks earlier this season and backed that up when runner-up in listed company at Limerick last month. Possibly stretched by trip when sixth of 9 to Goodie Two Shoes in Stanerra Stakes (7/1) at Fairyhouse (14f, good) 11 days ago. May be vulnerable to an improver back over 1¼m.

Useful mare who was placed in back-to-back listed events on final 2 starts for Richard Spencer last season. Solid start for new connections, 2¾ lengths third of 8 to Porta Fortuna in Group 2 Lanwades Stud Stakes at this course (8f, good, 10/1) 56 days ago. Can go well again back up in trip.

Useful filly ran to a similar level as in the Munster Oaks (finished fourth) when 16/1, creditable 7 lengths fifth of 11 to Chally Chute in listed race at Roscommon (12.1f, good to soft) 19 days ago. May come up short again in Group 3 company.

Smart mare who scored 3 times for Francis-Henri Graffard in 2023 (also third in Prix de Diane). Not disgraced for her new yard when sixth in Pretty Polly last summer and back from a break travelled well when runner-up in a Group 3 at Newcastle last month, not knocked about. Looks very interesting.

Useful filly bounced back to form when posting a career best to win a 7-runner listed race at Limerick (12.3f, good) 29 days ago by 1¼ lengths from Lemsairbat, having been suited by emphasis on speed. In excellent hands and no surprise were she to build on that back over 1¼m with Ryan Moore aboard.

Forecasts

Tasmania (5/2), One Look (10/3), Naomi Lapaglia (9/2), Beechwood (6/1), Uluru (9/1), Higher Leaves (10/1), Azada (12/1), Lemsairbat (25/1), Soft Winds (33/1), Indigo Five (50/1)

Verdict

In a highly-competitive Group 3, TASMANIA is narrowly preferred. Having already proved herself smart earlier in her career in France, she shaped with plenty of encouragement when runner-up on reappearance at Newcastle last month. Beechwood looks a huge threat if returning in the same form as when readily winning a listed race at Galway last September, while her stablemate One Look may well get back on track now upped in trip on a more suitable surface.
