6/1

Eleven runs since last win in 2024. 11/2, respectable seventh of 12 in handicap at Ffos Las (7.4f, soft) 19 days ago, finding test too much. Cheekpieces back on. Others make more appeal for win purposes.

Bayraat⁶⁰

Age: 9| Weight: 9-3| J: T E Whelan| T: T P Tate| OR: 62| CD

13/2

C&D winner. 14/1, creditable fourth of 9 in handicap at Redcar (6f, good to firm) 60 days ago. Shaped better than the bare result that day and, given that it was his first run for 8 months, it's probably safe to assume that he'll be sharper this time.

Form: 9/0730-4

Forecasts

Novello Lad (11/10), Thunderous Love (10/3), Beelzebub (6/1), Bayraat (13/2), Havana Sky (10/1), General Assembly (33/1)

BAYRAAT's two previous runs at this track have resulted in a C&D win and a good third, and the 9-y-o is appealing on the back of an eye-catching reappearance spin at Redcar where he was forced to switch at a crucial stage. Novello Lad shouldn't be inconvenienced by this drop back in trip and is feared most, while Havana Sky is also likely to take a hand in the finish.
