A fair winner at 20f over hurdles for Nicky Henderson. Rarely threatened for present yard, though did at least stop the slide after 4 months off back chasing when fourth of 7 at this track (16.5f, good to firm) last month. Back up in trip and he's not certainty to build on that effort.

C&D winner last summer and added to tally at Leicester in December. Jumped much better than on return and ran up to something like his best when 5½ lengths second of 13 to King of The Story over C&D (good) just over 2 weeks ago and would be a big player with a repeat effort.
Won Gowran maiden on final start for Gordon Elliott in September 2022, but has offered little for present connections and it's easy enough to look elsewhere.
Built on the promise of last month's C&D fourth to double his tally in 13-runner handicap at this C&D (good) just over a fortnight ago, leading last. 6 lb higher mark to contend with but capable of following up given the manner of that success.
Sprung a surprise from 8 lb out of the handicap to end a losing run stretching back to his bumper days in 2021 when winning 6-runner handicap chase at this C&D (good) 10 days ago. Quite what he achieved that day is open to question, so he could be worth taking on under a penalty.
Poor handicap chaser who took a step back in the right direction when sixth of 10 in handicap chase at Warwick (16.2f, good) back in April. Back up in trip and the percentage call is to look elsewhere.

Forecasts
King Of The Story (2/1), Henry Box Brown (2/1), Deal Em High (9/2), Rathmacknee (9/2), Sir Jack West (8/1), Forget You Not (11/1), Wee Willie Nail (100/1)
A few of these met over C&D just over a fortnight ago and this looks to concern the first and second that day, KING OF THE STORY taken to confirm his superiority over Henry Box Brown on the back of a 6 lb rise in the weights. Deal Em High was also a recent C&D winner, but Debra Hamer's 8-y-o may have to settle for minor honours this time under a penalty.
