Foaled April 20. Starspangledbanner colt. Half-brother to useful 2-y-o 7f winner Seagolazo and 2-y-o 6f winner Zephina. Holds an entry in the National Stakes and he's one to monitor closely in the betting.

Foaled April 22. €75,000 foal, 185,000 gns yearling, Acclamation colt. Dam, 8.4f winner, half-sister to smart 1¼m/10.5f winner Three Bodies. Not short of appeal on paper, but jockey bookings point to Dial Me In being the stable first-string.

Promising type. 1 win from 1 run this year. Won 10-runner minor event (3/1) at Leopardstown (7.2f, good to firm) on debut 27 days ago. Extra yardage here won't go amiss and he's a promising type. Another who holds an entry in the National Stakes.

Foaled January 28. €100,000 yearling, Australia colt. Half-brother to 3 winners, including useful 2-y-o 5f winner Orlaith and 5f winner Tammy Wynette. Yard can ready a newcomer and it'll be interesting to see which way he goes in the betting.

Once-raced maiden. 80/1, 18½ lengths ninth of 13 to Empty Wallet in maiden at Bellewstown (7.9f, good) on debut 12 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. Readily passed over.
|
Promising type. Fifth of 17 in maiden at Leopardstown (7.2f, soft, 50/1) on debut 34 days ago, nearest finish. Very much of interest now upped in trip on the back of that eye-catching debut.

Dial Me In (4/5), A Boy Named Susie (10/3), Bellamano (4/1), Empty Wallet (4/1), Wyman (12/1), Acclamatic (20/1), Badger's Cove (150/1)
Though up against a couple of previous winners and a promising filly, newcomer A BOY NAMED SUSIE looks the part on paper and is taken to make a winning start to his career. The Starspangledbanner colt is certainly bred to make a 2-y-o and an entry in the National Stakes suggests that he's been showing the right moves at home. Bellamano shaped with plenty of promise on debut at Leopardstown and is feared most ahead of Dial Me In, who made a successful debut at that Dublin track last month.
