Age: 3| Weight: 10-5| J: Adam Browne-Souza⁽¹⁰⁾| T: W P Browne| OR: 75| D

7/2

Turned in best effort of the season when 11/2, good third of 13 in handicap at Tipperary (7.4f, good to firm) 10 days ago, having the benefit of an enterprising ride. Blinkers on first time and respected if in the same form back on the all-weather.

Red Scarlet^t1⁶⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 9-13| J: Ben Coen| T: R P Cody| OR: 69

5/1

Showed promise in maidens around 7f last year but fared no better than on her seasonal reappearance when twelfth of 16 in maiden (17/2) at Cork (10.4f, good) 67 days ago. Drops back in trip for handicap/all-weather debut (also wears first time tongue tie) and fairly treated on last season's form.

Form: 7326-50

Brosna Green^b⁶⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 9-12| J: Shane Foley| T: Mrs J Harrington| OR: 68

14/1

Best effort to date came over this C&D but ran poorly upped in trip on final qualifying run when blinkered for first time, last of 14 in maiden at Ballinrobe (9.6f, good, 14/1) 64 days ago. Back down in trip for handicap debut and too soon to write off yet.

Form: 74-80

All Right By Me^p1⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-11| J: Donagh O'Connor| T: R O'Sullivan| OR: 67

40/1

Fair maiden for Ger Lyons (best effort over 1m at this track) but looked a doubtful stayer on stable debut when eighth of 14 in juvenile hurdle (50/1) at Tipperary (16f, good to soft) on NH debut 9 days ago. Cheekpieces on first time and is entitled to be competitive back on the Flat.

Form: 660-300

Flynn Ryder^p1¹⁰⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 9-11| J: Leigh Roche| T: Eoghan O'Neill| OR: 67

14/1

Ran badly upped in trip on turf/handicap debut when fourteenth of 16 in handicap at Leopardstown (10f, good). Back down in trip with cheekpieces on first time following a break but difficult to be confident unless market speaks more favourably (beaten at long odds on all 4 starts).

Form: 5-960

Have I Told You^p¹⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-10| J: Ronan Whelan| T: John O'Donoghue| OR: 66

9/1

Best run to date when fourth over this C&D and likely needed the run on handicap debut when seventh of 10 in handicap (14/1) at Wolverhampton (6.1f) 19 days ago. Cheekpieces back on and could be worth another chance from a fair mark.

Form: 504-7

(4)

Senti Qua^p1²⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-9| J: Colin Keane| T: K J Condon| OR: 65

9/1

Could only match previous form on handicap debut when creditable sixth of 17 in handicap at Cork (8f, good to soft) 29 days ago, slowly away. Looks to have a bit to find on polytrack debut though the application of cheekpieces and booking of Colin Keane offer some cause for optimism.

Form: 7756

Cala Bonita¹⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 9-6| J: Robbie Colgan| T: M J Smith| OR: 62

40/1

Ran a moody race when last of 13 in handicap at Tipperary (9f, good to firm, 16/1) 10 days ago. Back down in trip for polytrack debut but others preferred.

Form: 00-2100

(3)

Electric Beauty¹¹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-5| J: James Ryan⁽³⁾| T: M Mulvany| OR: 61

20/1

Well held on handicap debut/first run since leaving K. J. Condon when eighth of 10 in handicap at Roscommon (10.3f, good to soft) 11 days ago. Significantly down in trip and may find this on the sharp side.

Form: 4-3798

Merchants Arch^v⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-1| J: Wayne Hassett⁽³⁾| T: R O'Sullivan| OR: 57

4/1

Has a fairly good record here despite being a maiden and fared better under a positive ride to finish third at Limerick last month prior to running below form seventh of 15 in handicap at Bellewstown (8f, good) 9 days ago. On a handy mark and appeals back on the all-weather with visor refitted.

Form: 280537

(6)

Cosmic Force⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 9-0| J: Robert Whearty⁽³⁾| T: K H Clarke| OR: 56

12/1

Unreliable type but on a going day when respectable fourth of 11 in claimer at Bellewstown (7.9f, good, 40/1) 8 days ago. Remains to be seen if he can back that up.

Form: 735404

(12)

Eric Lock^b⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 8-12| J: Emily Grifferty⁽¹⁰⁾| T: N Meade| OR: 54| D

6/1

Winner at Down Royal in May and wasted no time getting back to form (with cheekpieces refitted) when second of 15 in handicap at Bellewstown (8f, good, 10/1) 9 days ago, clear of rest. Ought to go well again in another change of headgear.

Form: 224192

Forecasts

Just Before (7/2), Merchants Arch (4/1), Red Scarlet (5/1), Eric Lock (6/1), Senti Qua (9/1), Have I Told You (9/1), Cosmic Force (12/1), Flynn Ryder (14/1), Brosna Green (14/1), Electric Beauty (20/1), Cala Bonita (40/1), All Right By Me (40/1)

MERCHANTS ARCH has posted his best efforts to date over this C&D and having been given a chance by the handicapper, he may be able to get off the mark at the expense of recent runner-up Eric Lock who can go well again in a change of headgear. Red Scarlet is yet to fire this season but may do better dropping back down in distance.
