Showed some ability over this trip on debut for Brian Toomey but couldn't land a blow over the minimum trip on final start for that yard. Hooded for stable debut and is one to note in the betting back over 6f following 9 months off.

Much improved from debut when winning an 8-runner maiden (9/4) at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 17 days ago, quickening clear in the manner of a filly capable of holding her own at a higher level. Drop back to 6f no issue and she should go well again on turf debut.

Harry Angel colt shaped very well on his return when third of 8 in novice at Redcar (7f, good to firm) in May but failed to build on that promise on handicap debut at Haydock later that month, for all she was poorly drawn. Could bounce back following a breathing operation.

Cheekpieces on for first time and showed more than on debut when fourth of 9 in maiden (18/1) at Wolverhampton (6.1f) 10 days ago. Could be one for handicaps.

Washington Dc gelding. Dam multiple 5f winner (including at 2 yrs). Trainer doesn't tend to have many newcomers but could be worth a market check with Silvestre De Sousa taking the ride on debut.

Cheap purchase who has finished well held on both starts to date. Drops back in trip on reappearance but others preferred.

Looked a prospect for the longer term when ninth of 11 in novice at Newcastle (7.1f) on debut 13 days ago. Best to look elsewhere.

Encouraging third on debut at Southwell (5f) but too free when last of 12 in maiden (28/1) at this course (7f, good to firm) 75 days ago. Ought to be more competitive returning to sprinting.

Forecasts

Mystical Storm (5/6), Bint Mohaather (11/8), Magic Boy (2/1), Trafalger (12/1), Lindoro (20/1), Queensmaite (28/1), Pebble Dash (33/1), Tiger Tower (125/1), Nimble Nasher (200/1)

Verdict

This looks a good opportunity for BINT MOHAATHER to follow up her recent Wolverhampton success on her way to better things. Magic Boy left behind his debut effort when runner-up at Ripon last month, he's feared most ahead of Mystical Storm who shaped so well on reappearance at Redcar and could be worth another chance following a breathing operation.
