Career best when winning 11-runner handicap at Wetherby (8f, good to firm, 8/1) 19 days ago, well positioned. Further progress will be needed if he's to complete the hat-trick.
4/1, eighth of 10 in handicap at Newcastle (10.2f) when last seen in November. Close third over this C&D on sole previous visit here a month earlier and will be a danger to all if fully tuned-up.
Career best when comfortably winning 6-runner handicap at this C&D (good to firm, 4/1) 8 days ago, making it 3-6 here in the process. Every inch a leading candidate under a 5 lb penalty.
Good fourth of 10 in handicap at Doncaster (8f, good to firm, 14/1) 10 days ago, having run of race. Chances are he'll again find one or two too good.
15/8, creditable second of 5 in handicap at Bath (8f, firm) 13 days ago. Remains on a workable mark nudged up 1 lb and she's one to consider.
Latest win at Wolverhampton in April. 13/2, creditable fourth of 8 in handicap at Ripon (9.8f, good to firm) 19 days ago. Vulnerable from a win point of view.
13/2, career best when winning 10-runner handicap at Lingfield (7.6f, heavy) 31 days ago, readily. Hit with a 7 lb rise, but an even bigger concern is that prospect of quicker ground here, given that he clearly revels in the mud.
Thrice-raced maiden. 14/1, fourth of 13 in novice at Kempton (7f) 48 days ago. Tom Marquand booked for this handicap debut and it'll be interesting to see how he shapes up in the betting.
Eighth of 10 in handicap (8/1) at Hamilton (8.3f, good) 20 days ago. That was his second below-par run this year, but a reproduction of his near-miss at Doncaster in April would see him involved in the finish.

Forecasts
Mount King (5/2), Walsingham (11/4), Paladin (7/2), Love Is The Law (8/1), Uppercase (16/1), Seed Investor (16/1), Beltadaay (16/1), Riyadh Gem (18/1), Vibrato (18/1)
While the lack of a recent run is a concern, the maiden WALSINGHAM has only had four starts for this yard and, if resuming at a level close to that off which he was a close-up third over this C&D in October, a bold show could be on the way. Mount King is an obvious threat on the back of a cosy recent success here and Love Is The Law, who has been knocking on the door of late, is also shortlisted.
