Latest win at Southwell in January. Ninth of 11 in handicap (33/1) at Sandown (7f, good) 21 days ago. Significantly up in trip and the percentage call is to look elsewhere.
Lightly-raced maiden. Fourth of 6 in handicap (10/3) at Hamilton (12.1f, good) 37 days ago. Others make more appeal for win purposes.
Lightly-raced maiden. 12/1, first run since leaving Mrs J. Harrington when creditable third of 6 in handicap at this course (10.4f, good) 13 days ago. One to consider off the same mark.
Three wins from 4 runs this year. Career best when winning 8-runner handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f, 16/5) 31 days ago, digging deep. 3 lb rise fair enough, but the challenge is now for her to prove that she can reproduce that level of form back on turf.
Lightly-raced maiden. 50/1 and blinkered for 1st time, last of 8 in handicap at Lingfield (10f, AW) 15 days ago. Readily passed over.
Lightly-raced maiden. Fourth of 7 in maiden at Hamilton (11.1f, good to firm, 18/1) 23 days ago. Needs to raise his game now venturing down the handicap route.
Lightly-raced winner. 17/2, career best when winning 9-runner handicap at Wetherby (8f, good to firm) 15 days ago, better placed than most. Shapes as though she'll cope with this step up in trip and a 4 lb rise looks manageable.
Promising sort. Winner at Wetherby in June. 7/1, fourth of 6 in handicap at this course (10.4f, good) 13 days ago. She got no luck that day and is of strong interest back here with improvement a distinct possibility.
Winner at Southwell in April. Below form sixth of 11 in handicap at Leicester (8.2f, good to firm, 11/4) 8 days ago. Back up in trip and one or two of these are more appealing.
Good neck third of 10 to Betty Bassett in handicap at Wetherby (10f, good to firm, 7/1) 32 days ago. Now 2 lb better off with that rival and he could have a say in the finish.

Joyful Sound (4/1), Betty Bassett (9/2), Broadstone (9/2), Romantic Spirit (13/2), Dream Angel (8/1), Homeland (10/1), Jr Climbs (10/1), Everyoneknowsadave (11/1), Canavan (12/1), Live Each Day (16/1), Arizona Rock (16/1)
Things didn't go BETTY BASSETT's way here recently and, better judged on her handicap debut success at Wetherby on penultimate start, she is taken to resume winning ways. Homeland was a close third to the selection in that Wetherby handicap and should again be hot on the heels of Ian Williams' representative. Romantic Spirit would be a serious player if able to back up his recent all-weather form now back on turf, while Dream Angel also has claims.
- Homeland10/1
- Romantic Spirit13/2
