Much improved second time up when going from the front to land 10-runner Leicester maiden (7f) in June. Did himself no favours with a slow start when seventh in 13-runner seller at Chester since but he appeals as the type who could do better still now handicapping.

Kodiac filly who improved on her opening pair of efforts when running on for third in 10-runner novice at Bath (5f) 19 days ago. Further increase in trip worth exploring now tackling nurseries and she's worth a second look.

Steadily progressive at a modest level, winning 7f Lingfield maiden in May. Found things tougher under a penalty when fifth of 9 in novice (50/1) at Newbury (7f, good to firm) 9 days ago. Makes handicap debut but she may lack the potential of one or two.

Thrice-raced maiden. 5/1, fifth of 7 in maiden at Hamilton (5f, good) 15 days ago. Pedigree suggests this longer trip will hold no fears and she's entitled to hold more chance now handicapping.

Showcasing filly who showed more than previously when third of 7 in maiden (9/1) at Chepstow (5.1f, soft) 26 days ago. Interesting her top stable opt for a marked step up in trip now handicapping and there's surely better to come. Interesting.

Forecasts

Jack The Tooth (11/8), Whisperwood (10/3), Magic Box (5/1), Eightthreeone (5/1), Baggot Street (11/2), Paroda Diva (8/1)

Verdict

JACK THE TOOTH did himself no favours with a very slow start but was still deserving of credit for passing as many as he did when midfield in a Chester seller (7f) 3 weeks ago and, appealing as the type to do better still moving forward, he could be the answer now switched to nurseries. Whisperwood and Magic Box both shaped well last time with a view to tackling this sort of company and can also play lead roles.
