Scored 4 times on the AW during 2024 and posted easily one of his best efforts on turf when third at Ripon (6f) in May. Not in same form at Carlisle/York subsequently but the assessor continues to ease his grip and fitting of blinkers may well have a positive effect now.

Bounced back to form back under positive tactics when doubling tally for the campaign at Hamilton (5f) 2 starts back. However, 4 lb rise enough to anchor her when fifth of 7 in handicap back at that venue 2 weeks ago and likely she'll face plenty of competition for the lead here.
|
C&D winner who went in again twice on AW during the winter. Off 4 months, possibly needed the run when sixth of 7 in handicap at this C&D (good, 13/2) 12 days ago and the return to this lower grade can see her in a better light.
|
Took advantage of a career-low mark at Nottingham (5f) in May and ran another solid race from inflated mark when third of 8 in handicap (15/2) at Catterick (5f, good) 34 days ago, edged out only late on. Should be firmly in the mix once more.
|
Snapped a lengthy losing streak on final outing for David O'Meara at Sandown (5f) last September. Has yet to find his feet in trio of starts for new yard this spring and he's tough to weigh up for all his mark is easing all the time.
|
Rare turf start when successful at Chepstow (5f) in May and followed up under an attacking ride at Southwell (5f) next time. Continued good work with runners-up efforts on last 2 starts and he's another in with a shout in present groove.
|
Had a productive spell on AW during the winter, winning twice over 5f at Southwell. Element of him just ticking over in turf handicaps in recent months but best not judged too harshly on his latest Thirsk effort (stumbled leaving stalls). Another who is steadily easing in the weights.

Forecasts
Secret Mistral (3/1), True Promise (10/3), Street Life (9/2), Hurt You Never (11/2), Glory Fighter (11/2), Fortunate Star (7/1), Soul Seeker (28/1)
This looks wide open and with that in mind it could pay to take a chance on the class-dropping TRUE PROMISE. Kevin Ryan's 4-y-o figures on a potentially handy mark judged on his all-weather exploits and the application of first-time blinkers could well put an extra edge on him here. Glory Fighter and Secret Mistral can also feature.
- True Promise10/3
- Glory Fighter11/2
