Respectable sixth in the 2000 Guineas on reappearance and produced a career best when winning 7-runner listed race at Leopardstown (9f, good, 11/8) 24 days ago by ½ length from Currawood, responding well. Likely to improve and certainly wasn't stopping, which gives hope for this trip.
Chester Vase winner who produced a very smart performance when winning 18-runner Derby at Epsom (12f, good to soft, 13/2) 22 days ago by 3¾ lengths from Lazy Griff, dominating the opposition under a good ride. Sets a high standard.
Smart form when runner-up to Lambourn both starts this season, latterly in Derby at 50/1 22 days ago. Yard in excellent form and while he has 3¾ lengths to find with that rival, he's likely to give it another good go.
Looked a top prospect when winning the Dante at York in May. 4/1, tailed-off seventeenth of 18 to Lambourn in Derby at Epsom (12f, good to soft) 22 days ago, failing to handle the track. No surprise were he to bounce back with a big performance.
Put experience to good use and posted a career best in the process when winning 6-runner listed Derby Trial at Lingfield (11.6f, good to firm, 4/5) 50 days ago by short head from Stay True. Swerved Epsom but does need to raise his game.
Picked up where he left off when landing a handicap at Leopardstown in March and found another jolt of improvement when second of 19 in handicap (7/1) at Royal Ascot (12f, firm) 10 days ago, suited by increase in trip. Should have more to offer, though this is asking a lot.

Useful colt. Course winner. Very good length fourth of 13 to Carmers in Queen's Vase (9/2) at Royal Ascot (14.2f, firm) 11 days ago. Looks up against it in Group 1 company.
Creditable 4 lengths second of 8 to stablemate Amiloc in listed race at Goodwood (11.2f, good, 12/1) 36 days ago. Trainer going well but this is a difficult ask.
Smart performance when very good 4¾ lengths third of 18 to Lambourn in Derby at Epsom (12f, good to soft) 22 days ago, faring best of those held up. Likely to be ridden closer to the pace here and he needs to be taken seriously.
Career best when winning 5-runner Gallinule Stakes at this course (10f, good, 12/1) 37 days ago by head from Emit (second past the post but subsequently promoted). Big rise in class.

Forecasts
Lambourn (8/13), Tennessee Stud (6/1), Pride Of Arras (8/1), Puppet Master (11/1), Green Impact (12/1), Lazy Griff (14/1), Serious Contender (28/1), Sir Dinadan (40/1), Shackleton (50/1), Thrice (80/1)
LAMBOURN confirmed he's both uncomplicated and very smart when a pretty dominant winner of the Derby 3 weeks ago and while this may place slightly more emphasis on speed, he's taken to add his name to the roll call of colts to complete the double. Tennessee Stud may reverse the placings with Lazy Griff this time, though both are respected, while Dante winner Pride of Arras should be much more at home on this track.
