Had the race sewn-up when falling 2 out here at the end of last month and gained quick compensation when making all back here (C&D, good) 20 days ago. 7 lb rise probably won't stop him going in again.

Fair maiden hurdler who was beaten a fair way by the winner when runner-up on chase debut at Huntingdon (23.6f, good to soft) back from a break in April. Performed to a similar level when third in a 5-runner handicap over the same C&D (good to firm) next time and she looks vulnerable.

Has left hurdles form behind switched to fences this spring, runner-up twice before opening her account at Huntingdon (23.6f, good). Again travelled well throughout when a clear second (Lucky Rose back in third) over the same C&D next time and she has to enter calculations.

Ended a long losing run in 4-runner Warwick handicap chase (25.4f, good to soft) last month, having chased home Ann d'Arabie at Huntingdon 13 days earlier. Creditable third at Southwell recently, but that leaves her a bit short of the level that will be required to win this.

Winning pointer who opened her chase account here (21f, soft) in September. Best effort since when third in a 6-runner Taunton handicap back from a break in April, but safely held when filling the same spot back here over C&D 10 days later and concerns remain with regard to her stamina.

Maiden hurdler who took really well to fences in 2023, bagging pair of handicaps at around 3¼m. Performed with credit when runner-up over this C&D on second run following a lengthy absence, but little to shout about since and she needs to bounce back.

Poor maiden on balance, but his last 2 efforts have been among his best, latterly beaten 2½ lengths into third behind Illogical Logic over C&D earlier this month. Now 6 lb better off with that rival and should make his presence felt.

Point winner last month, but 0-20 under Rules and it's probably best to look elsewhere.

The switch to front-running tactics has clearly benefited ILLOGICAL LOGIC, who opened his account over C&D last time and a repeat could be on the cards. Radharc Na Slaine is entitled to finish closer to the selection having finished 2½ lengths adrift that day and now renews rivalry on 6 lb better terms. However, the way Illogical Logic asserted after the final fence suggested that he probably has a bit more in the locker. Ann d'Arabie is also likely to be on the premises.
