Ran creditably when runner-up in a selling handicap hurdle at Cartmel (17.2f) in May, despite jumping none too fluently. Produced a laboured effort back on the level on first start for current yard at Wolverhampton since but not written off with cheekpieces reapplied back over jumps.
Back on track when winning 12-runner handicap hurdle at Southwell (20.4f, good) 12 days ago, though was fortunate on the day given she was 10 lengths down in second when left in front last. Looks vulnerable off a 2 lb higher mark.
Off the mark in determined fashion over hurdles in 9-runner handicap at Kelso (18.1f, good) 27 days ago, driven out. Should remain competitive.
Shaped as if back in form following a 4-month break when fourth of 9 in handicap hurdle at this C&D (good to firm) 35 days ago, a serious late error just as the race was starting to take shape preventing him from doing better. Needs considering in first-time cheekpieces.
Little impact in point bumpers and yet to better poor form over hurdles, though wasn't seen to best effect in a first-time tongue strap when fifth of 9 on handicap debut at Worcester (16f, good to soft, 80/1) 29 days ago, not ideally placed.
Ran about as well as could be expected when ninth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Perth (16.2f, good, 8/1) 13 days ago. Back up in trip.
Never looked like justifying support when eighth of 11 in handicap hurdle at Taunton (19f, good, 9/2) 59 days ago. Visor on for 1st time.

Chillhi (5/4), Independent Jimmy (9/2), Spartan Warrior (11/2), Land Girl's Luck (15/2), Karakoy (8/1), Shadowfax Of Rohan (11/1), Sain Et Sauf (25/1)
INDEPENDENT JIMMY would have gone closer to justifying support without a serious error just as the race was starting to take shape over C&D on his most recent outing, so he's well worth another chance from a 1 lb lower mark fitted with first-time cheekpieces. Chillhi isn't long with James Owen, so can't be written off back over jumps, with recent Kelso winner Spartan Warrior also feared.
