Left behind his 2-y-o form since stepping up in trip and has proved consistent in 10f maidens this season, making it a hat-trick of third place finishes at Lingfield (10f, soft) 12 days ago. Looks the type who should improve for this extra 2 furlongs. Solid claims.
Fairly consistent this season and off the mark at this course in April over 10f, his task made easier by the withdrawal of a couple of fancied market rivals. Below par effort at Chester last time but strikes as the type to bounce back quickly and should be competitive returned to 1½m.

Sir Percy filly left behind her seasonal appearance when recording her first success at Lingfield (10f) 30 days ago (second past the post but subsequently promoted). Merits plenty of respect with further improvement possible over this longer trip.
155,000 euro yearling by Camelot. Sent off at long odds in maidens last season but offered something to work with on last of those starts when caught wide and keen at Kempton (7f) in October, not knocked about. Since gelded and could well improve now handicapping over a markedly longer trip.
Modest form in all-weather maidens and failed to improve for the switch to handicaps following a 4-month break when seventh of 11 in handicap at Leicester (10f, good) 23 days ago. Up in trip with cheekpieces on first time and will need to improve.
Modest form on latest start in maidens and ran to a similar level when fourth of 7 in claimer (13/2) at Ballinrobe (9.6f, good) on final outing for Denis Hogan 41 days ago. Will need to improve for the longer trip for handicap/stable debut.

Forecasts
Pendragon (11/10), Arkinthestars (7/2), War Supremo (11/2), Percy's Daydream (6/1), Pivotal Affair (12/1), Thakheera (18/1)
A well-bred son of Camelot, PENDRAGON looks a typical Sir Mark Prescott type, now making his handicap debut over a significantly longer trip having hinted at ability on his final start over 7f last season. He could well show marked improvement on his first start since a gelding operation and appeals most, particularly if the market speaks in his favour. Percy's Daydream got off the mark over 10f last time and may well improve for the extra distance, as might War Supremo.
