JenningsBet Bromyard Novices' Handicap Chase

Disappointed in both starts last month but had shown ability on hurdles debut previously and has experience between the flags. Worth monitoring in market on chase debut.

Modest winner on hurdles debut last summer but not really built on that and needs to find improvement now sent over the larger obstacles.

Irish point winner who made the frame in bumper/first 2 starts in maiden/novice hurdles in 2022/23. Posted respectable third on chasing bow at Bangor (17.4f) 18 months ago but hasn't been since and is entitled to need this.

Off the mark over fences at Hereford (20.9f) in April and backed that up with good second at Fontwell. Seemed unsuited by drop in trip when third of 5 in handicap chase at this course (16.5f, good to soft) 20 days ago and must enter calculations.

Back from 4 months off when second of 5 in handicap chase at this course (16.5f, good to soft, 7/2) 20 days ago. Should be straighter for that run and merits consideration. Cheekpieces on first time.

Posted encouraging return from 12 months off over hurdles at Hereford in April but ran poorly at Warwick since and has something to prove back over fences here.

Returned to form when close second of 7 in handicap chase at Ffos Las (23.8f, good to soft) 7 days ago, going with enthusiasm. Just 1 lb higher now and holds strong claims.

Won on sole start in point bumpers but yet to show any ability under Rules, including on chase debut at Bangor in February. Pulled up in point latest and best watched from 8 lb out of the handicap.
