Lightly-raced 4-y-o who ran well when second of 8 in handicap at this C&D (good) 14 days ago Seemingly hasn't been the easiest to train given infrequent appearances, so interesting to see if he can build on that now but definite possibilities if doing so.
Boasts just the one win from 21 runs but he did run well having been less-than-ideally placed when fourth of 12 in handicap at Kempton (1m, 17/2) 14 days ago. Back down to last winning mark if he can back that up.
3-time C&D winner (including this race 12 months ago). 11/2, far from disgraced after 6 months off when sixth of 11 in handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 26 days ago. Entitled to have come on for that run and only 1 lb above last winning mark now re-united with Jason Hart.
Veteran. Course winner. 5/1, creditable third of 8 in handicap at this C&D (good) 14 days ago, ridden over 2f out and keeping on. Likely to be competitive again.
Fair 7f winner for Gavin Cromwell in Ireland who hasn't been disgraced in 2 starts since returning for new yard, fifth of 9 in handicap at Beverley (8.4f, good, 17/2) 14 days ago. Visor goes on now for the first time.
Unreliable type. Fourteen runs since last win in 2022. 16/1, off 6 months before a finishing last of 6 in handicap at Ayr (8f, good) 41 days ago. Others more persuasive.
Twelve runs since last win in 2023. Last of 6 in handicap (22/1) at Beverley (8.4f, good) 18 days ago. Tongue strap on for 1st time. Has it to prove at present.
Much-improved when off the mark at Newmarket (1m) in May and ran at least as well when second of 10 in handicap at Nottingham (8.3f, good) 10 days ago, suited by way race developed. Easily one of the more interesting types here and she's shortlisted.
Remains a maiden after 8 starts but better signs since upped in trip, not seen to best effect when fifth of 8 in handicap at Doncaster (10.2f) on penultimate start. Reared and unseated in stalls at Pontefract 19 days ago but not one to write off if that hasn't left a mark.
Eleven runs since last win in 2024. 33/1, fourth of 6 in handicap at Ayr (8f, good) 41 days ago. Others make more appeal.
Thrice-raced maiden. 250/1, tenth of 11 in novice at Carlisle (9f, soft) 13 days ago. Will hold more chance now attentions switched to handicaps and rider takes off a valuable 5 lb. Confidence behind him in the betting would look significant.
Below form sixth of 12 in handicap (10/1) at Newcastle (7.1f) 81 days ago. Others more persuasive.
Lightly-raced maiden. 20/1, tenth of 12 in handicap at Wetherby (8f, good to firm) 45 days ago, always behind. Needs to get back on track.

FRENCH HAVEN has improved in line with the return to shorter of late, opening her account at Newmarket in May prior to finishing a solid second at Nottingham 10 days ago. Still relatively low-mileage, she's comfortably one of the more interesting types here and earns the vote. Bellasio following his encouraging C&D second, Ayr Poet and Shahnaz are others to consider.
