Cappaho¹¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-7| J: Calum Hogan⁽⁷⁾| T: E Seymour

80/1

Lightly-raced 5-y-o mare making hurdle debut. Finished 9th of 12 in a bumper at Wexford (50/1) 11 days ago, racing off the pace and never threatening. Will need significant improvement to make an impact.

Form: 9P-9

Churchill Rose^p⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 11-7| J: L A McKenna⁽⁵⁾| T: Arthur Goulding

100/1

Modest handicapper on the Flat with two career wins. Finished tailed off in 15th of 18 in a maiden hurdle at Listowel (66/1) 6 days ago on hurdle debut, not always fluent. Cheekpieces back on and significant step up in trip. Plenty to find.

Form: 0

Doyentohurl⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-7| J: H Morgan| T: E Griffin

150/1

Struggled in maiden hurdle starts to date, finishing tailed off in completed efforts. Unseated rider at the first hurdle in a field of 10 when 66/1 at Tramore (22f) 8 days ago, having swerved badly with hood applied. Hood now removed but needs to show significantly more.

Form: 60-U

Fillusin¹⁹¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: J Smith⁽⁵⁾| T: G Elliott| OR: 106| BF

4/1

Mostly consistent performer in maiden hurdles, including second of 10 at Thurles over 23f. Disappointed when sixth of 7 in handicap hurdle at Thurles (20f) 191 days ago, dropping away from 2 out. Has been given a break and may fare better returning to maiden company over this longer trip.

4/5

Kilrush Lady^p1,t¹⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: J J Doyle| T: P M J Doyle

16/1

Pulled up on hurdles debut but showed improvement when third of 14 in maiden hurdle at Downpatrick (33/1) 328 days ago, going well but unable to quicken close home. Easy winner of a Point last month. Wears cheekpieces for the first time today and could have more to offer.

Form: P32U-P1

Lady Victrix^t1

Age: 5| Weight: 11-7| J: Kieren Buckley| T: Maurice Ahern

50/1

Getaway mare. Half-sister to 4 winners, including useful chaser Annie Angel and fairly useful hurdler Myztique, stayed 2¾m. Wears a tongue tie for debut and is worth a market check.

Form:

Mi Lucky Cailin³⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-7| J: T P Harney⁽⁵⁾| T: W J McLernon| OR: 105

5/1

Without a win for over 14 runs. Eighth of 15 in conditions hurdle at Punchestown (14/1) 39 days ago, never better than mid-division and made a mistake three out. Seems in a lull and step up in trip needs to spark a revival.

Form: 247568-

Sister to fairly useful chaser Mylesfromwicklow (2½m-21f winner) and closely related to 2 Point winners: dam bumper/fair 2m hurdle winner (stayed 2½m). From a top yard and is respected on debut.

Five-year-old filly making hurdle debut. Half-sister to bumper winner and fair chase winner Check The Score. Sold for €10,000 in July 2023. Failed to complete all 3 starts in points, fell latest (Apr 26). Uphill task on Rules debut.

Princess Georgie²³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-7| J: Dylan Kidd⁽⁷⁾| T: G B Caldwell

100/1

Maiden pointer finished 7th of 16 on Rules debut in a maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan (66/1) 23 days ago, where jumping issues held her back and was one-paced late on. Steps up in trip today, which could suit based on dam's winning form over longer distances, but needs to improve.

Form: 72C-7

Regards To Rose^t¹⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: Gary Noonan⁽⁵⁾| T: E McCarthy| OR: 100

11/2

Has shown improved form recently. Finished second of 15 in a maiden hurdle at Limerick (6/1) 10 days ago, making most until stumbling two out, then one-paced. Steps back up in trip today and should be competitive again.

Form: 3R08-32

Ringcreevy Diamond³⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-7| J: J P O'Sullivan| T: C A McBratney

125/1

Showed little promise in two maiden hurdle starts before finishing 11th of 12 in a bumper at Downpatrick (66/1) 30 days ago. Will need significant improvement returning to hurdles.

Rutland Rose^t³⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: Peter Smithers⁽⁷⁾| T: M Brassil

50/1

Offered little in Limerick bumper debut (20/1) and finished 12th of 18 in maiden hurdle at Down Royal (100/1) 34 days ago, first run for new trainer after 6 months off. Needs significant improvement stepping up in trip today.

Form: P/6-0

Tomorrow At Dawn^t²⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: Mark McDonagh| T: P T Foley

40/1

Lightly-raced filly who showed a bit of ability in a bumper debut before finishing fifth of 16 in maiden hurdle at Cork (66/1) 29 days ago, chasing leaders before becoming one-paced. Step up in trip today could suit but may prove one for the longer term.

Form: 7-5

You Can't Do That⁹⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: Mike O'Connor| T: P T Foley

150/1

Showed little on racecourse debut. Last of 14 in a bumper at Leopardstown (50/1) 97 days ago, went with no encouragement and dropped away before home turn. Makes hurdle debut today with significant step up in trip. Best to look elsewhere.

Bumper-winner FILLUSIN ran creditably in maiden hurdles last year and this looks a reasonable opportunity to open his hurdles account following a break. Keep Up beat a subsequent winner when winning a Roscommon bumper prior to struggling in a Listed race, and she's a fascinating hurdles debutante for Willie Mullins, with recent runner-up Regards To Rose completing the shortlist.
