Best run in maidens when 3rd of 13 in 6f maiden at Southwell last August despite pulling hard. Made all to win easily by 6 lengths in a 5f handicap at Carlisle (7/1) 7 days ago, travelling well before going clear in the final furlong. The one to beat under a penalty if in the same form.
Bounced back to form to notch his second success of the year at Redcar (5f) 36 days ago. Second of 8 in a 6f handicap at the same venue 18 days ago, running at least as well in defeat on first try beyond 5f. Should remain competitive.
Patchy form since landing final leg of a 4-timer last July. Sixth of 8 in handicap at Carlisle (11/1) 8 days ago, going through the motions in blinkers. Not easy to make a case for.
Without success in 17 starts since August 2023 win at Ripon but turned in season's best effort when third of 7 in handicap at Catterick (11/2) 13 days ago from a tumbling mark. Remains to be seen if he can back that up.
In good form with four consecutive frame finishes, most recently finishing third of 13 in handicap over this C&D 20 days ago, despite stumbling when leaving stalls. Should give another good account.
Placed twice in handicaps last summer but finished 9th of 15 in handicap at Thirsk over 8f (12/1) 34 days ago when not ideally placed and staying on late. First-time visor replaces hood and dropping back in trip may suit. Not the most straightforward but on a fair enough mark.
Course and distance winner in April who has been in consistent form this spring. Second of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton over 7f (9/5) 15 days ago, travelling strongly and only headed in final strides. Should be in the mix again.
Without a win for 17 runs. Some promise on penultimate outing when third at Southwell but last of 10 in handicap at Ripon (25/1) 28 days ago when needing the run after 5 months off. Bit to prove at present.
Four-time winner but 10 runs without success since scoring at Redcar last July. Fifth of 7 in handicap at Nottingham (10/3) over 5f 28 days ago, wasn't in the same form as previously. Not ruled out if bouncing back.
Poor form in handicaps, often running too freely. Ninth of 11 at Doncaster (13/2) 42 days ago, well held after long break. Easy to look elsewhere.
Limited performer with no wins in 11 starts. Ran one of better races when fifth of 9 in handicap at Ayr (22/1) 16 days ago, awkward from stalls, made headway over 1f out and kept on without being punished. Others preferred.
Poor recent form, finishing ninth of 15 in handicap at Catterick Bridge (40/1) 25 days ago. Isn't one to be interested in at present.

Fresh from a dominant success at Carlisle 7 days ago, CANON'S HOUSE should take all the beating under a penalty if in similar form. C&D winner Emerald Army has been in consistent form, and he's respected along with Sugar Baby, who proved equally effective at this trip last time.
