Irish point winner who stepped forward from his hurdles debut when fourth in a Taunton novice last spring, but he hasn't gone on from that effort, including switched to fences the last twice. Likely best watched following a 9-month absence.

Remains a maiden following 14 attempts under Rules, but he would've put that right but for falling 2 out here (21f, good) last week, around 12 lengths ahead and well in control at the time of his departure. Will prove hard to beat off the same mark, granted a clear round.

Maiden hurdler who left his inauspicious chase debut behind when taking a 5-runner handicap at Warwick (3m, good), jumping far with greater proficiency than he did at Huntingdon. 5 lb rise fair enough and should make his presence felt if able to build on that.

Back on track following a wind op, runner-up in an Exeter handicap chase in April prior to opening his account in this sphere at Warwick (3m, good) later that month. However, his jumping rather went to pot when well held over the same C&D last time.

Hurdles winner in April 2023, but lightly-raced since and a mid-race fall on his chase debut here last week was hardly an encouraging start over fences.

Poor maiden on balance, though he does have bits and pieces of fair form to his name, including when runner-up here (21f, good) on second run since returning from a winter break. However, he would've been a distant third had Illogical Logic stayed on all fours.

Compensation awaits ILLOGICAL LOGIC, who had the race at his mercy when exiting at the second-last over 21f here last week. Moving back up in trip is unlikely to be an issue and he is a sizeable step ahead of the handicapper at present. Grand Sabre was something of a surprise winner at Warwick on his second start over fences, but he's given the benefit of the doubt and, assuming that that was no fluke, he could emerge as second best here ahead of Moonlight Artist.
