Foaled March 2. Lope De Vega colt. Dam useful French 6.5f-9f winner out of unraced half-sister to high-class 2-y-o 7f winner Teofilo. Slight concern that he's equipped with a hood for this debut, but otherwise makes plenty of appeal on paper for his powerful connections.

It will look significant if the market vibes surrounding BECKFORD'S FOLLY are positive and the hint should be taken if that proves to be the case. There were positives to take from Daretobedifferent's debut third, but she was beaten by a Godolphin newcomer that day and, in Beckford's Folly, is up against another likely-looking type representing the 'boys in blue'. Shaatir made an encouraging start to his career at Chepstow and also enters calculations, along with debutant Balthamos.
