C&D winner. Latest win at Wolverhampton in December. Respectable third of 10 in handicap at Lingfield (6f, AW, 14/1) 44 days ago. Hasn't been with this yard long and good-value apprentice booked.
C&D winner who completed the hat-trick at Ascot this month. 10/3, 3 lengths sixth of 9 to Rebel Path in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) 15 days ago and is well drawn to adopt customary forcing tactics.
Latest win at Kempton in March. 18/1, good second of 13 in handicap at Chester (7f, good) 25 days ago, headed close home. Way he went through that race suggests return to 6f could be in his favour.
Eleven runs since last win in 2024. 9/2, shaped well when fourth of 13 in handicap at Kempton (7f) 11 days ago, faring best of those ridden prominently (last off the bridle). Drop back to sprinting may be the answer but stall 14 poses a question.
Easy to excuse ninth of 13 in handicap at Ripon (6f, good to firm) 45 days ago given he was left poorly placed. Cheekpieces on for the first time.
On a lengthy losing run and just a respectable 2½ lengths fifth of 9 to Rebel Path in handicap (4/1) at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) 15 days ago. Visor back on and dangerous to discount him given the mark he's on these days.
Picked up where he left off in the autumn with a decisive win at Thirsk in April (6f). Stuck to his task when a respectable fifth of 22 in handicap at York (7f, good, 6/1) 16 days ago. Makes polytrack debut and seems sure to give it another good go.
Winner over 7f here last summer but yet to find his feet for current yard, 33/1 when last of 13 in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good to soft) 47 days ago.
Too lit up with cheekpieces back on when ninth of 10 in handicap at Windsor (6f, good to firm, 14/1) 20 days ago. Better judged on previous form (consistent AW performer).
Finally off the mark at Newcastle in January. Shaped as though in top form when neck second of 12 to Northcliff in handicap (22/1) at Ascot (6f, firm) 22 days ago. Merits serious consideration.
C&D winner who improved on recent efforts to win 9-runner handicap at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) 15 days ago by 2 lengths from Fiscal Policy, readily. Up 7 lb but he's clearly in excellent order.
Enhanced superb strike rate over C&D at the beginning of the month. 15/2, creditable 2 lengths second of 9 to Rebel Path in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) 15 days ago, no match for winner having been hampered at the start.
Three-time C&D winner. Six wins from 20 Flat runs. 6 wins from 11 runs this year. 5/2, career best when winning 6-runner handicap at this C&D 24 days ago. 6 lb rise in a better race asks a different question of this hold-up performer.
C&D winner in November. Eighth of 9 in handicap (9/2) at Wolverhampton (6.1f). Off 145 days and others more persuasive.

Forecasts
Mesaafi (4/1), Musical Touch (4/1), Monsieur Beaulieu (6/1), Supreme King (9/1), Crimson Sand (10/1), Fiscal Policy (11/1), Cairn Gorm (12/1), Rebel Path (14/1), Aberama Gold (14/1), Northcliff (16/1), Jesse Luc (16/1), Ararat (18/1), Farasi Lane (28/1), Monsieur Kodi (50/1)
This looks wide open but MESAAFI went through the race at Ascot last time as though ahead of his mark and with one of the more accomplished apprentice riders booked, he could be the answer. Farasi Lane hasn't raced over a sprint trip since his juvenile days and while it promises to suit, stall 14 is a potential issue, so Musical Touch is feared most.
