Womens Community Matters Handicap Chase

C&D winner who returned to form when creditable second of 7 in handicap chase at Ffos Las (16f, good, 12/1) 22 days ago. Figures off a handy mark and is one for shortlist.

Took well to fences last term and off the mark at Fontwell in December. Posted creditable second of 7 in handicap chase at Wincanton (20.2f) when last seen in March and must enter calculations here.

Won Stratford handicap chase this time last year for Jamie Snowden but offered little in a trio of subsequent starts and is likely best watched on return for new yard here.

Runner-up 3 times on the bounce over hurdles in first half of 2024 but lost his way for Shaun Lycett. Probably needed the run on final start for that yard earlier this month. Mark is slipping and no surprise to see him bounce back, sent chasing on first outing for capable yard.

Scored 3 times over this C&D, most recently in July, but more recent efforts have lacked verve and he makes limited appeal.

Fair 2m winner over hurdles but just modest form at best in this sphere and arrives on back of disappointing effort over longer trip at Hexham 25 days ago.

Posted solid third of 5 in handicap hurdle at Chepstow (16f, good, 9/1) 69 days ago but is still without a win after 21 attempts and finds himself 3 lb out of the weights, returned to chasing.

No show in 5 starts over hurdles to date and hasn't been seen for 14 months. Plenty to prove on yard/chase debut from 4 lb out of the handicap.

Poor maiden hurdler/chaser. Well held in 4 starts since joining this stable and is hard to fancy from 5 lb out of the handicap.
