Tenth of 12 in handicap (66/1) at Newcastle (7.1f) 16 days ago. Hood on 1st time (also undergone a wind op since latest start) and he needs to bounce back in a major way.
16/1, career best when winning 13-runner handicap at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) 31 days ago. 4 lb rise looks manageable and he's a must for the shortlist.
Course winner. Cheekpieces on for 1st time, respectable 4½ lengths eighth of 13 to Bantz in handicap at Doncaster (7f, good to firm, 18/1) 31 days ago, very slowly away. Looks vulnerable.
Lightly-raced maiden. 66/1, seventh of 9 in handicap at Ripon (6f, good to firm) 40 days ago. Yard saddles a stronger candidate in Perfidia.
Creditable sixth of 12 in handicap (50/1) at Nottingham (8.3f, good) 28 days ago. Down another 2 lb but may again find one or two too good.
Thrice-raced maiden. 18/1, third of 6 in maiden at Newcastle (7.1f). Off 133 days ahead of this handicap debut and needs to raise her game.
Lightly-raced maiden. Sixth of 9 in handicap at Kempton (6f, 13/2) 48 days ago. Others make more appeal.
Two wins from 6 runs this year. 12/1, career best when winning 10-runner handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 8 days ago by neck from Perfidia, well positioned. More will be needed under a penalty.
4/1, good neck second of 10 to I Can Boogy in handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 8 days ago. Now 6 lb better off with that rival and bold show on the cards.
First run since leaving John Butler when ninth of 11 in handicap at Carlisle (7.8f, good to firm, 12/1) 8 days ago. Has work to do.

Forecasts
Perfidia (6/4), I Can Boogy (6/1), Bantz (7/1), Bermuda Princess (15/2), Eighteen Fourteen (8/1), Tortoiseshell (8/1), Spring Corn (16/1), Cushty (18/1), Due Respect (33/1), Gesundheit (40/1)
Having encountered traffic problems at a crucial stage, PERFIDIA was unlucky not to win when going down by a neck to I Can Boogy over this C&D last week. Granted better luck this time, Tim Easterby's charge should have little trouble reversing those placings on 6 lb better terms. I Can Boogy should give another good account, but Perfidia may have most to fear from Bantz, who opened his account on turf at Doncaster last time.
- Perfidia6/4
- Bantz7/1
- I Can Boogy6/1
