Fared no better than on stable debut when stepped up in trip, finishing eleventh of 13 in handicap at Windsor (8.1f, good to firm, 100/1) 24 days ago. Difficult to fancy.
Achieved modest form as a maiden. May have need reappearance run prior to disappointing when last of 8 in handicap at Ripon (8f, good to firm, 80/1) 35 days ago, albeit possibly unsuited by the track. Could be worth another chance.
Modest maiden was well beaten on first run since leaving Eamonn O'Connell when last of 9 in handicap at Bath (8f, firm) 32 days ago. Needs to step forward significantly.
Creditable third of 6 in handicap (20/1) at this track (9.5f) on penultimate start and likely found the racing coming too soon when disappointing over a longer trip at Kempton 4 days later. Down in class following a break and looks interesting.
Thrice-raced maiden again showed little when 250/1, last of 7 in novice at Southwell (7.1f). Remains to be seen if she can find improvement over the longer trip on handicap debut.
Modest form on second start in maidens but struggled with cheekpieces on for first time when well beaten seventh of 8 on handicap debut at Redcar (8f, good to firm, 40/1) 21 days ago. Improvement needed in first time visor.
Rumble Inthejungle gelding fared no better on handicap debut when 18/1, fourth of 6 in handicap at Bath (8f, good to firm) 8 days ago. More needed over longer trip on all-weather debut.
Unsuited by the step back in trip when running on third of 8 in handicap (22/1) at Kempton (7f) 17 days ago, wore first time blinkers (retained). Extra distance should suit and she merits serious consideration.
Thrice-raced maiden. 200/1, last of 12 in maiden at Newcastle (7.1f). Off 8 months/gelded ahead of this handicap debut and needs to raise his game markedly with tongue tie and cheekpieces now fitted.
Lightly-raced maiden again showed little on first run since leaving Karen Jewell when eighth of 9 in handicap at Brighton (9.9f, good to firm) 23 days ago. 1 lb out of the handicap and best to look elsewhere.

Forecasts
Banksman (15/8), Amber Honey (16/5), Abstract Art (4/1), Beaune (6/1), That Lucas Fella (12/1), Pacific Man (16/1), Helston Dance (25/1), Coiled (28/1), Bigfield Dreams (50/1), My Candy Girl (125/1)
ABSTRACT ART has posted his best efforts at this course (9.5f) and, usually a prominent racer, he should be able to find a handy position from the widest draw in a race without much pace on paper. He can take advantage of this drop in class and break his maiden at the expense of Amber Honey who rabn creditably at Kempton and should be suited by this stiff test, while That Lucas Fella could be worth another chance having been unsuited by the undulations of Ripon last time.
- Abstract Art4/1
- Amber Honey16/5
- That Lucas Fella12/1
