Zoustar filly who showed ability in pair of starts as a juvenile and not given a hard time returning from 8 months off when fourth of 10 on qualifying run in maiden at Windsor (8.1f, good to firm) 23 days ago. Looks the type to do better now handicapping for yard in good form.
Showed first form after 5 months off when fourth in a course novice (7f) in March. Easy to back, looked far from at home on the track when twelfth of 13 on handicap debut at Epsom (8.5f) 4 weeks ago and he's certainly not one to be writing off yet. Had wind surgery ahead of this.
Son of Bated Breath who was off 4 months/gelded prior to an improved fourth of 9 in handicap at Bath (8f, firm, 5/2) 31 days ago, no extra only late on. In good hands and that not expected to prove his limit. One to consider.
Thrice-raced maiden. 14/1, offered a bit more encouragement than on both starts at 2 yrs when sixth of 12 in maiden at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 23 days ago, not clear run over 1f out. but not unduly punished. Step back up to 1m could bring about further progress but his draw could have been kinder.
Made a winning return/handicap debut at Wolverhampton (7.2f) in March and next start back at that track best excused on account of a difficult draw as it went. Likely he has more wins in him from this sort of mark and he's unexposed at 1m.
Promise on 2 of her 3 starts as a juvenile and has the pedigree/physique to suggest she will thrive as a 3-y-o but she was well held after 7 months off when eleventh of 12 in handicap at Nottingham (8.3f, good) 22 days ago. This should reveal more on polytrack debut.
Almanzor filly who displayed glimmers of promise in handful of maiden/novice events at up to 7f during second half of last year. Just the type her very shrewd trainer does particularly well with in handicaps and good chance there's improvement coming on first start as a 3-y-o.
Winner at Southwell (7f) in December. 7/1, seventh of 10 in handicap back at that venue in January, never a threat. Absent since and whilst she comes here on a workable mark, it's possible she may prove vulnerable to less exposed types.
Successful at odds of 33/1 on debut in a Chelmsford maiden (7f) in November. However, handed a stiff enough opening mark and not yet built on that, sixth of 9 in handicap at this C&D 16 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Others rate stronger.
Lightly-raced maiden. Fifteenth of 16 in handicap (33/1) at Ascot (6f, firm) 12 days ago, racing off the pace and never involved. First-time blinkers need to have positive effect now stepping back up significantly in trip.
Thrice-raced maiden. 11/2, first run since leaving Sir Mark Todd when fourth of 8 in maiden at this course (7f) in February. Return to 1m looks firmly in her favour now handicapping and interesting what the market makes of her.
C&D winner who resumed progress to make it 3-4 here in 13-runner handicap over 7f last month. Found things tougher from revised mark when sixth of 11 in handicap (3/1) at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 15 days ago and this looks her toughest assignment yet.
Lightly-raced sort who benefited from being gelded, posting career best when winning 8-runner handicap at Doncaster (10.2f, good to firm) 18 days ago, getting first run but always holding on. Will need his share of luck operating from widest draw here, though.

There was a lot more to like about OPENING BAT's handicap debut fourth on the back of a break (also gelded) 4 weeks ago and he earns the vote to prove this mark an exploitable one with Billy Loughnane now up. A La Louche very much appeals as the type to progress now handicapping as a 3-y-o and she needs considering. Bizou and Beta Reader complete the shortlist.
