Won twice at Brighton last year but took a couple of runs to get up and running last season and he looked rusty on return to action at that venue 3 weeks ago.

No impact over hurdles but much more like it when second of 9 in 10f handicap at Leicester (66/1) 9 days ago, beaten just a neck when wearing cheekpieces on the back of breathing surgery. Looks well placed to build on that

Showed promise after previously running over sprint distances, winning 9-runner handicap over this C&D (11/1) 14 days ago, asserting late on. Looks well-in up 6 lb having found ideal conditions.

Quirky sort who finished sixth of 10 in a handicap at Southwell (7/1) 29 days ago, prominent early but weakened from 2f out. Without a win in 17 races but down in the weights and represents an in-form yard. Cheekpieces off.

Yet to win a race. Fifth of 9 in 11f handicap at Bath (11/1) 29 days ago, weakening after initially making headway when appearing stretched by the longer trip. Return to this distance with tongue strap applied for first time could help his cause.

Forecasts

Crowd Quake (10/11), Formal Address (9/2), Offiah's Boy (7/1), The Pug (15/2), Charles Morin (12/1), Glen Esk (14/1), Devizes (20/1), Fighting Poet (28/1), Pop Noodle (28/1), Regal Glory (40/1), Sunset In Paris (40/1), Run Joy Run (150/1)

Verdict

CROWD QUAKE took a big step forward when winning over C&D 2 weeks ago having previously been campaigned over inadequate trips, and can defy a 6 lb rise to follow up. Offiah's Boy showed improvement when finishing a close second at Leicester after a breathing operation and looks the main danger, while Formal Address should be more effective over this more suitable distance.
