Miss Goldfire^t²²

Age: 6| Weight: 12-0| J: C P O'Shea⁽⁷⁾| T: H Fry| OR: 103

1/1

Chatshow Host^p²³

Age: 8| Weight: 11-6| J: Charlie Maggs⁽³⁾| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 95

11/1

Made a discouraging start to her chase career earlier this year but step back in right direction on second start following wind surgery (also equipped with cheekpieces) when third of 11 in handicap hurdle at Bangor (23.2f) 23 days ago. Down to a workable mark if building on that.

Form: 2/76PP3-

Hardy Buck^v1⁴¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: James Turner| T: A Gibbons| OR: 91

16/1

Maiden who went with only minor promise when runner-up on yard debut over hurdles at Market Rasen (18.6f) in March and he never figured when fifth of 8 in handicap hurdle at Plumpton (15.9f) 6 weeks ago. Visor now reached for in place of cheekpieces and others rate more solid.

Form: 232625-

Stylia^b1⁴⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 10-13| J: Chad Bament⁽⁸⁾| T: A J Honeyball| OR: 88

13/2

No Risk At All mare who showed a good deal than previously when third of 5 on handicap hurdle debut at Plumpton (25f) 44 days ago, just not seeing things out as well as first 2. Remains early days and first-time blinkers could put an extra edge on her. Respected.

Form: 280443-

Leader Wing^b¹⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 10-10| J: Joe Williamson| T: G Boanas| OR: 85

9/2

A fair bumper winner for Tom Weston last spring who has found some consistency over hurdles for present yard, matching previous best when finishing a close-up fourth in 6-runner handicap at Kelso (25.8f) 10 days ago. Expected to be thereabouts from same mark.

Form: 8P623-4

Tis But A Scratch^p¹⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 10-2| J: Tabitha Worsley| T: G Howell| OR: 74

11/2

Remains a maiden after 22 runs but he did at least post his best effort for a while when keeping on for third in an 11-runner C&D handicap 2 weeks ago. Went down narrowly in this race 12 months ago, so not entirely dismissed despite operating from out of the weights.

Form: P957P-3

Forecasts

Miss Goldfire (1/1), Leader Wing (9/2), Tis But A Scratch (11/2), Stylia (13/2), Chatshow Host (11/1), Hardy Buck (16/1)

MISS GOLDFIRE gained reward for a string of near misses when opening her account over hurdles at Fontwell (21.8f) 3 weeks ago and, having gone close in handicaps previously from similar marks, she looks to hold prime claims again back up in trip. Leader Wing has been knocking on the door of late and he's feared most, ahead of Chatshow Host who showed more encouraging signs at Bangor latest.
