Lightly-raced maiden. 18/1, improved a little on her exploits as a juvenile when fifth of 9 in handicap at this course (9.9f, good to firm) 19 days ago. Further increase in trip could well help here.
Cracksman filly who has displayed race-by-race progress in 3 starts to date, second of 6 in maiden (66/1) at Ripon (9.8f, good to firm) 17 days ago. Remains with potential now handicapping back over this longer trip and she's one to consider.
Lightly-raced maiden. Cheekpieces on for 1st time, fifth of 8 in handicap at Windsor (11.4f, good to firm, 10/1) 15 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Will need to settle better than she did then if she's to figure now the headgear is quickly discarded.
Ulysses gelding who finished nearer last than first in trio of 7f novice/maidens during second half of last season. However, just the type his excellent yard do well with in handicaps and no surprise to see a better showing over this markedly longer trip. Respected.
Lightly-raced maiden who is best not judged too harshly on her last of 8 on return/handicap debut at Wolverhampton (9.5f) 22 days ago, badly hampered and stumbling over 1f out. This ought to reveal more.
Little form in maidens/novice company but more like it with blinkers fitted when third of 10 on nursery debut at Redcar (1m) in September. Now his task is to build on that back from 7 months off upped in trip/with cheekpieces now the headgear of choice.
Lightly-raced filly who took a step forward ridden more positively over a longer trip when good second of 7 in handicap at Wolverhampton (12.2f) 15 days ago. Not taken lightly with a repeat back in distance.
Almanzor gelding who failed to improve returning from 8 months off when last of 4 in handicap at Newcastle (12.4f, 25/1) 33 days ago. Needs to show a good deal more before becoming of interest.

Analogical (8/13), Rommie The Miracle (6/1), Gungnir (8/1), Belle Amie (8/1), Call Me Audrey (9/1), Maundy Thursday (11/1), Arie Gordye (11/1), Captious Cantor (40/1), Max The Tiger (50/1)
ANALOGICAL boasts all the hallmarks of a likely improver now handicapping as a 3-y-o stepped up markedly in trip and he could be the way to go before the benefit of market clues. Similar comments apply to Rommie The Miracle and she's feared, as is recent Wolverhampton second Call Me Audrey.
