4/5

Career best when winning 10-runner handicap (6/1) at Wetherby (8f, good to firm) 13 days ago, readily. 4 lb rise is unlikely to debar another bold show.

Form: 77-2157

(3)

Kracking^h,t¹⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 9-8| J: Warren Fentiman⁽⁵⁾| T: S C Williams| OR: 71| C| D

6/1

Unreliable individual. Course winner. Latest win at Brighton in April. 6/1, ninth of 10 in handicap at Epsom (8.5f, good to firm) 18 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter.

Form: 964319

(5)

Calanthe^b¹²

4/1

7/2, career best when winning 9-runner handicap at Lingfield (8f, AW) 12 days ago, well ridden. 3 lb nudge easy to swallow and he should give another good account.

(4)

Double Time^h²¹

28/1

Quirky sort. First run since leaving Sir Mark Todd when sixth of 7 in handicap (12/1) at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 21 days ago. Tough to assess at present.

Form: 84686-6

(1)

Aljezur²¹

Age: 4| Weight: 8-8| J: George Wood| T: J Candlish| OR: 57

11/1

Form: 700-770

Forecasts

Candonomore (4/5), Calanthe (4/1), Kracking (6/1), Kit Gabriel (9/1), Aljezur (11/1), Cliffcake (25/1), Double Time (28/1)

CANDONOMORE did the job well on his seasonal reappearance at Wetherby and he'll take plenty of stopping off this 4 lb higher mark if in a similar mood. The consistent Calanthe gained a deserved success at Lingfield recently and he is the clear main danger. Kracking could be the one to pick up minor place money.
