Career best when winning 14-runner handicap (10/3) at this C&D 20 days ago, well on top finish. Up 6 lb for that but he should make his presence felt once again.

Last of 5 in handicap at Newmarket (10f, good to soft, 10/3) 23 days ago. That was too bad to be true and she remains of interest in view of her C&D reappearance success in March.

Thrice-raced winner. 9/4, won 14-runner novice at Kempton (8f) when last seen in December. More will be needed now handicapping but opening mark looks fair and she may well progress now faced with a stiffer test.

Forecasts

Cristo (6/4), Killenaule (5/2), Lady Chartwell (11/2), Epimeteo (17/2), Nanny Park (11/1), Lazieelunch (22/1), Soy Loco (25/1), Opera Score (28/1)

Verdict

Whether the conditions were to blame or it was simply a 'bad day at the office', LADY CHARTWELL clearly didn't give her running in a handicap at the Newmarket Craven meeting and she is well worth another chance. Indeed, the Churchill filly was pretty impressive when getting the better of a subsequent winner over this C&D in March and she certainly wouldn't be the first from this yard to quickly bounce back from a low-key run. Killenaule and Nanny Park rate the main dangers.
