Thrived during the summer, completing a Newton Abbot 4-timer over fences in September. Form has nosedived since, though, and he's probably best watched back hurdling on first start since December.

Fair bumper performer for Harry Whittington and produced his best effort yet when finding just one too good in a 23f Worcester handicap last August. Respectable third at Warwick the following month and, though absent since, he must enter calculations here.

Justified support when taking 12-runner handicap hurdle at Stratford (22f, good to soft) 38 days ago. 7 lb higher now but another bold looks assured.
|
Disappointed since making a promising hurdling debut at Sedgefield in February but now goes handicapping following a break and is worth monitoring in the market.
|
Little promise in a bumper and 4 completed starts over hurdles and shaped as if amiss when pulled up at Hereford last month. Likely best watched.
|
Below par over shorter trip latest but had made the frame in both starts previously and can't be ruled out, despite racing from 3 lb out of the handicap.

Forecasts
Tropical Speed (8/11), Champetre (4/1), Victor Haze (11/2), Hold Your Fort (11/1), Jack's Jury (18/1), Pooley's Promise (28/1)
This can go to TROPICAL SPEED, who was having just his third start for Olly Murphy when scoring at Stratford in March and remains feasibly treated. Champetre looks the obvious danger.
